I have been using the IX27 for a few years without issue, not sure what the difference is with the "U"

I've had good luck with the Denso Iridiums as well. $0.02

I dont use mine either, I wash the engine bay every time the car gets washed to keep everything looking good.

FWIW Chipster, I had my alternator rebuilt a couple years ago, it was only $120

It looked like the original seats for the Blue/Yellow one are on ebay too.

Denso Iridiums in mine as well, no complaints.

The car looks great and I actually like the wheels, go figure!
