I've had good luck with the Denso Iridiums as well. $0.02

I dont use mine either, I wash the engine bay every time the car gets washed to keep everything looking good.

Its got to be mostly labor, and why buy a $1000 alternator when you can rebuild the original for $125. Someone got bent over if they paid $52k

I didn't like the big red buckets either so I purchased the newer light housings and rebuilt the buckets to hold them, then had them painted to match the rest.

I've been using the Baldwin as well. I added a pre oiler and sump to mine so it now holds 18 quarts but never has a dry crank start or starves in hard cornering.
