  1. Correct. Dino is keeping it. I used to own that Black 98 SV..the Silver SV stickers were just added to it a few months ago. He has just bought and picked up the higher mile 2001 Pearl Yellow 6.0. He also just got the higher mile Brown 6.0SE that I also used to own. Board member here out of Florida just sold it to him.
  2. I have been after this car for MANY MANY MANY years. Well, the owner got married recently and the car had to go. So he called me and I am now the NEW owner of this ONE of ONE ever produced in this Green 2001 Diablo 6.0. Attached pic when I FIRST SAW it on the lawn next to my Gold SE...almost 10 years ago. Cant wait to have this one come home. I will be taking it to Pebble Beach this year. Color is Verde Hydra. Also a 03 Murcie in the same color. I missed buying it by a few hours when it sold last year.
  3. Yes, I have two sets as well. Would sell for $9,750.00 per set plus shipping
  4. Very well said and 100% correct... I guess that's why I said I would just KEEP my SV and not move to the "so called up" Aventador "S" The cost is not worth it to me to play with the 'S" I will just keep playing with my cheap "throw away" SV.... LOL One thing I am pretty sure of, but of course there are NO GUARANTEES in life...just gambles... When I go to cash in my chips....MY SV will get more chips in 5 years then a Aventador LP700. 720 SV and pretty sure more then a "S" But we may never know as I have no intention of cashing the chips in on my SV....Love the Toy way to much.
  5. I never said the Murcie SV was faster then the Avent S...I said that I am surprised its only a time difference that the every day person WOULD never be able to tell apart. Also go look at the front air dams and bumper of the Avent S compared to the Murci SV and ALL LP640 cars..you will see the air dams have a more rounded edge on them, not the crisp cut fold over lines as the Murcie SV...and YES, it is $200K more as I look at it...plug in $450K from July 2009, (LP670-4 MSRP advertised) and see what that is worth today...AND then go ahead and option out a Avent S and you can see dollar to dollar TODAY comparison is almost $200K more then the Murcie SV dollar to dollar. I said and will say it again..in 5-10 years, the Murcie SV will still be worth more then the Avent S...PERIOD..there is no question there...even today you have Murcie SV cars trading for MORE then LP700 Aventadors...why, due to its rarity in numbers and its LAST DNA true Lamborghini. This does NOT mean the Avent S does not have a place in the market, BUT it does mean to me that it is NOT a future collectible car at all. I am sure it is a BLAST and a half to drive...but sooner or latter, its traded in for the next "quick gratification" rocket ship. The Murcie SV...that is a car that involves the driver EACH and EVERY time you get in... Of course, as with every thing, this is just what I think and feel....everyone is entitled to their own feelings of course.
  6. I think to own ANY Lamborghini is a privilege very few get to experience. I guess I just expected so much more from the "s" then I saw. I fell in love with my SV, took delivery of it in June of 2009...from my research was the 2nd one to be delivered in the USA at the time. I never even considered the Aventador when it came out in 2012 as I was totally content with my SV. Same case with he SV and the roadster....but the S...I thought 7-8 years later, have to check it out. I think it comes down to different strokes for differnt folks.. they are ALL fantastic cars, just for diffferent reasons and differnt persons... By the way, just FYI, Car and Driver rated the LP670-4SV at 2.8 sec in 0-60 AND from the way my car #12 drives...I would second that...but maybe its because its broke in with 30K plus miles, or maybe that it is 82lbs lighter due to its 6 speed GATED gear box
  7. After 7 years thats ALL...? So the NEW 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S was unveiled last night here in Seattle. Great looking car. I am still not a fan of the front that has some what more rounded edgeson the spoilers then the crisp defined edges of the "Last SV", the 2010 LP670-4SV. However of ALL things that BLEW me away was to my amazement...that after 7 years of development....the NEW "S' was NOT that much faster then the 670-4SV. The new car is 2.9sec in 0-62, while the 670-4SV is 3.0sec in 0-60. The top end of the 670-4SV is 213mph (with small wing) cant find a top end speed for the new S. The 6704SV was produced to the amount of ONLY 186 units WORLD WIDE with only 42 to the USA States. Currently less then 35 remain in the USA. The NEW "S" is way higher in production numbers as well as almost $200K more...looks a lot like the mass produced Aventdor and the Aventador SV, rounded lines, new style V12 block, different door opening angle, not a numbered plaque car and differnt exhaust note plus a lot more. LP670-4SV.. Less expensive, less produced numbers, true DNA Lamborghini V12 block (last car to have it), TRUE Lambo doors that go straight up (last to have it), crisp angle lines, REAL V12 exhaust note with body styles UNIQUE to ONLY the LP670-4SV, individual plaque numbered cars plus so much more.. YEA..I guess I will stick with the "Last of the line" LP670-4SV collectible for down the road instead of the mass produced "another version" of the Aventador in a "S" skin. I guess, at least for me, NEWER is NOT always better PERFORMANCE C/D as tested: Lamborghini LP670-4SV 0-60 mph: 3.0 sec Zero to 100 mph: 7.2 sec Standing ¼-mile: 11.2 sec Top speed (drag limited mfr's claim): 209-213 mph
  8. Yes, the E type are now well under a $100k easy..I have seen them going int he $65K area as well. I think the "used" car market as a whole is taking a breather right now..prices are not rising currently, but holding...except for a few of the "next" collectibles... But as is with everything, goes up goes goes up goes down....for me, its just a toy to play with and enjoy...
  9. I have TWO SV cars in stock and another one inbound....no story PERFECT cars ONE owner and documented from day one...open to offers if you want an appreciating asset.... http://www.catsexotics.com/vehicle-details...-wa-id-15241737 http://www.catsexotics.com/vehicle-details...-wa-id-16489990
  10. Or throw the OEM wheels back on...currently 3 sets for sale in the USA..all at around $10K
  11. Still for sale and listed on e bay currently http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-Lamborghini-M...em=172416775149
  12. Yes it is, custom ordered. I tried to buy that car when it was for sale a few months after the first owner had it. But it was just SO COST prohibitive to bring it export/import to the USA////looking back at it now...it would have been worth the cost. It would have gone so good with my #19 Diablo 6.0SE. It made me wrap by SV Brown and did the wheels Gold...
  13. I can say without question that I think I probably have the BEST example of a LM 002 America on the market...for sure in the USA if not the world. It also has beand new P tires on it, worth their weight in gold.... One thing a lot of people forget, The Carb version cars had the Countach heads on the block. The 48 or so roughly American FI versions had the heads of the Diablo motor...IMO the FI American trucks are all around better looking and certainly with the FI more reliable....but that is my thoughts. http://www.catsexotics.com/vehicle-details...-wa-id-11987392
  14. Let me make it clear as this statement is mis-leading. There were a TOTAL of 26 MANUAL LP640 cars produced for the USA from 07-09. 4 were 09 Roadsters I think the number of 12 damaged or gone is correct Also correct that at least 3 are back on the road with Salvage titles now same time period 5 manual cars to Canada NO 09 or 10 Manual cars to Canada..only 07 and 08 cars 3 SV Manual USA for 2010 ( 1 totaled so 2 left)
  15. Correct. It was a 2009 Yellow. 1 of 4 (the other 3 Black). 1200 miles. It was at Earth Motors. I spoke to Frank yesterday after the add was pulled within 3 hours. He told me they sold it to a person in Germany at full price...guess we will see if the sale goes through.
  16. Glad to have helped you out....and see, you got what you wanted anyways, just took a few more weeks.
  17. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-Lamborghini-M...em=371861621275 I think it makes my 08 6 speed coupe CHEAP>>>?
  18. LOL...no if I did that it would be 9 inches...after all, I been lying to women my whole life..why change now...LOL
  19. We got about 5 inches last night....makes for a GREAT photo I think.
  20. Yes, I did mine back in 2010 when I had my car Matt Brown.... I have the size and die cut for the SV stickers, both SMALL and LARGE size, for the right and the left side. drop me an e mail if interested and I can get you a price pending which version you want. [email protected]
  21. Yes they are...the RIMS are from my SV, Car #12. I had them painted years ago to match my Matt Brown wrap at the time. I have 3 sets of SV wheels, 1 set has my snow tires on them for winter use...
  22. I think it looks fantastic this way...can have it this way or as it left the factory........buyers choice.. http://www.catsexotics.com/vehicle-details...-wa-id-16489990
  23. We as well only use anti freeze spray here...as does most of the West Coast...I think mainly back east and the Midwest the use a lot of rock salt...here the tree huggers say it goes into the streams and kills the Salmon...yea and the anti freeze spray has no harm at all LOL But the few times I have seen salt on the snow pass (Nevada for one),I as Whiteout, have just run it under the wash bay underside..NOT TO MENTION that the under coating and such will TAKE years to rust out if your truly leave it all alone...I for one have more important things to think about...Like..ENJOY my ride..just keep it clean and maintained and you will have many many many years and miles of smiles...in Europe EVERYONE drives their cars..ALL their cars..after all, thats what a car is for..to be driven. Here are two pics, one, (White car) coming down the California Side of Donner pass from Reno, then when it was wrapped Yellow, local snow on the roads by my house in Seattle. This year so far, only had two days of snow, drove my car both days...and yes, Like he says..PEOPLE gop NUTS when they see it LOL
  24. I have used my LP670-4SV in the winter here since I got it in 09. In Oct I put my P zero Winter tires/rims (OEM) on the car and use them till end of March. I have driven it over multiple passes in the snow. I even drove it through the Oregon Mountains in the snow down To Arizona as well as through Donner pass from Reno to Sacramento. Granted I am not driving it a 100MPH o9r anything, but all normal speeds and have had NO ISSUES at all. As a matter of fact, I have driven past many another car stalled or slipping and sliding in the bad weather while I just cruise on and enjoy my car.
