  1. I had no idea there was such a presence in Singapore for these cars..WOW But it must suck to have a LP670-4SV in Matt White, Big wing, Big logo...and see the EXACT sme copy parked right next to you..
  2. Did you notice to ODO on the 560..? 17,610 miles!! SO much for OM to many miles on my car... Even it was a Euro KM...that is still 10,800 plus..
  3. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Now see people, YOU CAN drive these cars and ENJOY every frickn minute of it..Rain, snow and even sunshine!! 4. Great 200 mile run yesterday on the Casacde Mountain loop..shoot these with my cheap camera..what a great drive and a great day!!
  5. A few good ones taken with a "Real" camera Saturday..
  6. The cars as tested, where they equiped with the CCB or Steal breaks.??
  7. Love it...really makes the car show off its cool features..
  8. Some great responses here. I, as being one of the "few" that has both the M and the G car in his Garage, must agree...the difference in the two lines is so little and so much of them cross both...that each year the G is the first to be sold and go bye bye..the V-12 stays. I do have the 6.0 cars that stay and dont go anywhere..BUT those are a "old School" car to most...but are a classic and have held there value well. I do have a 2011 LP570-4SL in build and should be here Mid June. I am sure it will be a great car...but not a car of such difference that I will need it to occupy a space next to my LP670-4SV, but I like to get the first new toy on the block and play with it LOL As for the NEW flagship car...as Tommy says and I agree...it just has to be really some over the top stuff to have me replace my SV with it. Yes, lots of us with SV cars are just raving about them...why, becuase they really are the ultimate in the end of the run Murcie..just not a Special Edition last car to make some bucks..it s a totaly different animal that as I approach 8K miles with mine..is just not replaceable..."at this time". The last thng I want, (dont piss anyone off) is to have just "another" Red Ferrari sitting in my garage..as a matter of fact it wont..it would be outside in the driveay next to my GMC Denali...that is how non exciting the car is to me..a grocery getter and EASILY replaceable car all day long, nothing special or different, just a mass produced very well marketed brain wash mass car.
  9. This does kind of give a little credance to the rumors I have gotten from my Factory sources in the last few days.. I am told that the 2010 LP670-4SV car DID not hit ALL 350 cars produced as reported. The true number is closer to 225 total units...the car# plates DO not match the vin as in past special release cars. The plaques were al produced already so they kept using them and placed the higher close to the end numbers on some of the "last" cars.. Kind of makes you think..I mean after all..only 42 cars to the USA, that would mean 308 or so cars to the rest of the world..? Makes you wonder..
  10. Correct..and it was MISSING the top when it sod at Auction...so after all said and done...lost money on it..
  11. Yes, normaly with in 10 days via a return check..
  12. I dont think it will be a big Auction..this one is set up different.. 1) MUST be present to bid ( I was told this is so they can ID check all, background check to make sure NO bidder was/is involved with this case) 2) MUST make a deposit (LARGE-by cashiers check, up to $100K on the Veryon) JUST to bid..and a deposit is required FOR each item you wish to bid on. 3) SALE tax State of 6% ADDED to all winning bids REGARDLESS if you are a licensed Dealer or not In prior Govt sales, you could just do your standard 10K deposit, bid on anything in the auction, as well as do it live over the computer...AND NO SALES TAX..this one is different..from my speaking to the Govt rep..they are really concerned with assocated people to this case picking up itmes cheap..they want ALL the money and then equally divide it back to the scam gottten people.. So yes I am flying into Florida..and WHO knows..I think there can be some great deals to be had..after all WHO is laying out 400K in deposits to bid on everything..I think it will be a pick and choose..and if you are lucky enought to pick a itme that no one elese did a deposit..or flew in to be present..hell we will see.. ONE last thing is..there MAY be a reserve on some of the itmes..but they refuse to say which ones DO or do NOT have a reserve..I guess to protect if there is only one bidder and one deposit.

  17. Agree, one way or another LAMBOS will find it to the USA shores.. For the record...I hope these thoughts of mine DO NOT become reality..
  18. I sent you an e-mail...wont be there this weekend...
  19. More and more talk is going around the Business world about this...here are my thoughts..what are others..? This started with the question as to when will there be a replacement for the 560-4 (Gallardo) on another forum, thought it would be intresting to start a thread here and see what the thoughts of many are.? I dont think you will see a G successor or talk of it till at least 2012 and then ONLY if the numbers are up for the Flagship replacement car. The truth of the Lamborghini history is it went a different direction then Audi planned when it purchased the company in 1999. The purchase was strictly business plan, to obtain propritery R and D info to increase the super car brand of Audi, (i.e. the r-8 and r-10GT cars now). The loss it had anticipated with the Lambo line was an acceptable trade off for this information and developement for the long run. Audi NEVER expected to make money off of the Lambo cars tha it was basicaly testing world wide to get to where they are now with the R-8 cars etc..but when the company made it into the Black it was allowed to continue, while STILL passing the R and D onto Audi for the future. The a few bad things happen in sucession, starting off with the 62% loss of their market share, the USA going to almost zip...sales down over 70% and still down over 56% for this first quarter. VW buys Porsche, another mass produced market as the Audi cars that it can share info with learned from Lambo. Multiple long time factory employee's from Lambo reach mandated 40 year retirement from the Italian Goverment..and are still paid retirement fee's till death by law. The return of a dollar invested is wiped away by the de-valuation of years earlier invested money by todays dollar and other countries, including the Euro value. Cost to get the car to market is increased dramaticaly with both goverment requirments, transportaion fuel costs, legal fee's for mounting law suits, strict lemon law buy backs as well as new rules of maintaining back up stock of parts for 10 year warranty replacement costs...mostly fueled by the USA DOT new laws. The mandaited "green" requirments from the USA..harshes in the world with almost un-obtainable MPG requirements in the near future. Add to this the dropping of available financing for cars of this cost along with the increased departure of accepteable insurance to be obtained for these type cars in the USA. The new price tags of over $500K wipe out multiple pockets of possible buyers as the price reaches other marques of this value. Last nail is the dropping of Dealerships nationwide that can not survive on the sale of just this one marque...but are forced to maintain a seperate showroom, location and or service Dept due to the Dealer agreements. It also does not help that the USA market is now the "step-child" that recieves its new model cars last in line...the first cars go to other areas that are more profitabloe and have a greater return on the product. It is a fact of business...if you can not sustain your products profability in an area..you remove yourself from that territory and concentrate on the areas of your strength, you pull back to a smaller base of profability. IMO, as a business owner and watching the signs of this direction by Lamborghini..if they CAN NOT get the USA to become a profitable market share quickly..then just as in 2000 they will not import or operate here..and if the slide continues..Audi/VW will look and say.."thanks for all the R and D, thanks for the tax write off's", but it is time to answer to our share holders and produce these "super" cars in our profitable facilitys and not compete against ourself's. The last 6 months many USA cars produced by Lamborghini, including the NEW LP670-4SV have left USA soil and re-sold over seas. Even at other countrys costs, it is still better to buy here and transport overseas in a lot of cases, a sign of WHERE the money and profatabilty is. If Lambo goes bye bye, JUST in the USA..then there is no question cars that are currently in USA..old school and new school will climb in vlaue rapidly. But as with other marques that have left the USA in the past, Fiat, Masarati, etc etc...a new sub-culture and value rating system for these cars will emerge. The success of this new car is very very critical and the "last stand" IMO. We can only wait and see...IMO the decision time will be made with in 6 months of the NEW flagships car release to the USA market, December 2011.
