You don't need to drive in Corsa. Sport mode also disables stop/start.

When? Most of the coupes are already built. It's a bit late now. Right now you get a choice of a too high, too hard and too upright sports seat that hardly anyone fits in, or a comfort seat with OK headroom, reclinable but with insufficient lateral support. On the brand's top model! It's not good enough.

Thanks for the report topjay. I'm about to test the touring credentials on mine by driving to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road. That's a 12 hour trip. Should be interesting.

Topjay, does the SV have a deeper idle in Sport and Corsa after the software update? With my car switched to "open", it's a much bassier and angrier sound. Of course, no updates or switches will make the car louder at full revs. It takes a new exhaust to do that so I'm interested in how you go with that. How are you liking the SV overall? Mine's starting to free up and feels better on every drive.

I might get the software too at the first service. I'm not really desperate for more power though. This thing is quick.

Mine's aftermarket. I'll be interested to see how you find the software update. Let us know what you think. Mine is a $200 solution and it'll do nicely for the time being.

I had a remote controlled switch fitted today to my SV to fix the exhaust sound. It's now transformed. It doesn't matter which mode you are in, the pipes are always open. In stock form, you get no noise in Strada, some intermittently good noises in Sport, anda bit extra in Corsa. Now I get a seamless crescendo of wailing Italian goodness. And, with the press of the remote, back to stock as I enter my street. The only problem is fault lights on the dashboard which, because they are yellow on yellow background aren't bothersome. I can live with this if my installer can't fix them. An added bonus is that there is slightly less engine braking which has smoothed out the downshifts in Sport. In fact, all gear shifts are now smoother and sound fantastic.

I've seen it - at Frankfurt. Not a big deal either way.

I reckon I might use matte film on the gloss black (A pillars, header rail etc) though when I wrap mine to blend better with the matte carbon roof.

The yellow car looks great but I prefer the carbon fibre with the matte finish.

They'll look pretty good side by side I reckon.

I'm guessing he put the mic down by the exhaust pipes. That's an EVO trick to make the sound better than you'll ever hear in the cabin.
