  1. whoever invented spinners should be locked up in bad taste prison....
  2. Not sure why, but that reminds me of that old Saturday Night Live Skit "The Adobe" (the car made of clay)... Maybe because the body panels look like they've been molded by my 2 year old with Play-Do.
  3. My wife does auto manufacturer DEFENSE... (She specializes in rollovers) I would LOVE her to get the Lambo Account!!!! (Maybe finagle a Company Car! ) I've seen enough accident pictures from her to know that crash didn't go well.... Speed kills guys... Be careful. P.S. You don't want me to be your attorney, unless you're planning on turning the entire adventure into a motion picture.... THEN I'M YOUR GUY! lhump
  4. "Q: WHAT THE fcuk ARE YOU THINKING???????????????? May-04-05 A: This type of hatred and profanity is prohibed in the ebay community. It is also a violation of Federal and State law. Your actions have been forwarded...more " Not sure what law school he went to, but the one I went to never mentioned this law.... Seems like a reasonable question... Could have been posed a bit more diplomatically, but doesn't have to be (GOD I LOVE THE FIRST AMENDMENT)... there is no threat... or even "hatred"... Just a reasonable question under the circumstances.... So does anybody know what happened to the driver??? Looks like a LOT of cockpit intrusion.... and they had to cut the roof for extraction.... :cb
  5. Thanks... Ive always said "Racoon - Peter Tosh" but didn't want to sound like an ass when I start shopping...
  6. So I've heard "COUNTACH" pronounced several different ways over the years.... First sylable- Some say COON (as in RaCOON) Some say CON (as In CONfidence) Some say COUN (as in COUNt Dracula) second sylable Some say TOSH (as in Raegae artist Peter TOSH) Some say TAC (as in TACometer) some say TASH (as in... I cant think of a word that has TASH is it... rhymes with SPLASH) Or TOC (as in tic-TOC) Which is the "Correct" pronunciation?
  7. :supz: :supz: :supz:
  8. Looks like it is for sale AGAIN on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...1&category=6290 What is unusual about the cars interior?
  9. Nope... Only 1975 model years and older are exempt (told you we are nuts)... Anyways... I interested in an LP 500/0 or QV.
  10. So I'm interested in the Countach but have LOTS of questions regarding emissions, registration, etc... 1. How hard is it to get these cars to pass California smog certification? I would think ANY 20 year old car is going to have SOME problems passing this insane states regs, but ESPECIALLY an exotic (I always hold my breath when I have to smog my '90 M3... It actually FAILED as a Gross polluter a few years back [new o2 sensor]) 2. Am I limited to buying a "california car"? Do out of state cars have even more problems registering? Or is it even ALLOWED??? (I've never purchased a car from outside of LOS ANGELES, let alone outside the STATE, so I HAVE NO CLUE) Christ... Sometimes I feel like we're a feifdom unto ourselves... OBVIOUSLY I have a lot more choices in cars if I'm not limited to "California Cars". 3. I have about 300 more questions (like buying on EBAY, carbs vs FI, etc etc etc) but I'll stop with just 2. Thanks in advance!
  11. I golf.... and I played college football... And I'd rather watch premier League Soccer than either golf or the NFL...
  12. Is it just me, or is $180 for 10 quarts of oil and $140 for 5 quarts of gear oil a bit steep?
  13. Well, thats good to hear... I can always go on a diet.... But shrinking is not quite as easy...
  14. Ok... Im 6'2 (or so) and weigh 270... (I'm not a TOTAL lard ass... I played division 1A college football, and have that "type" of build... of course...that was a decade ago, and I've put on a few "extra" pounds since then) ... I'm one of those short torso, long legged freaks... I've been in love with the Countach since I was 13 when My mom and I saw one parked on the side of the road in Laguna Beach (it was a 5000S and that has always been my favorite model)... for reference, I'm pushing 35 now... Well, I'm finally in the financial situation that I can start thinking about getting a Countach... No rush... I don't plan on getting one TODAY... But I'd like to slowly educate myself over the next few years and then pull the trigger when the right car becomes available at the right time... (My wife and I are planning to buy a new house in the next few years, and one of the things we want is a three car garage so we have room for a Lamborghini.... MY WIFE IS COOL! :supz: But that has to happen before I buy the car...) But I'm afraid I may not fit... Does anybody have any suggestions about "finding one to try on"? I know if I owned a lambo, I wouldnt wan't some giant fiddling with my seats... (also, this is totally off topic, but how does one post a picture? I am terrible at all this internet stuff)
