  1. If the car just had a major service and is in near perfect shape, I think it would be a great price. I've see a private sale of a 92 in perfect shape go for 110K. Don't sell short the value of these cars. We should all be happy if the prices are going up.
  2. If anyone wants a pair of "Driveway Caddies" for their Diablo, I have a set for sale ready to bolt on easily with minor modification. All you need to do is drill and tap three holes, they bolt on. A company out of CA. produced these and sold many. The skates are new and never used. Some people like them, some don't, they worked for me. I took them off to keep my car original after being painted. Before I put them on ebay I thought I'd ask if any member here wanted them.
  3. Mike More pieces than last year? That was a trip seeing it come apart. I guess the body parts off make it look totally a wreck. I don't know if I want to see that! I can't stand the sight of blood.
  4. Mike Did you install mine? It is a very good feature. I'm thinking of putting one in the front. In the city it would be helpful pulling up to a curb. Does the Alpine handle two?
  5. Anyone have a source for a ECU for a 91 Diablo other than factory?
  6. Update, I pulled off the cap again and found more green $*%# in it. I cleaned it and drilled six holes as you guys suggest. Thanks
  7. What Diameter are the holes? I was told by a very good Mech. that the holes cause more trouble when you drive in the rain. Water get in for sure and we all know what happens with water in the cap. I had the same thing happen as JAY with a cap that didn't have holes. I bought it direct from the factory. I changed it and regulated the climate in my garage, (I had 78% humidity before installing a dehumidifier and air conditioner) and the problem went away without putting in the holes. I've also talked to several Lambo parts departments. Two had caps with holes and two had caps without. All said that they came directly from the factory. I'm really confused about this one! I do want to mention that the NAPA cap is an poor quality may cause problems. You could burn out the core pack. However, if the 70,000 volts it produces back feeds into the two computers that run on 12 volts, your up the river. Replacing these are not cheap!
  8. Can anyone help? I noticed that when I turn the key to the on position many things go on including the air blower. My question is: When the car is hot and turn the key to the on position (after running the car with the radio blasting) I hear another sound that wasn't there before the run. It sounds like a subwoofer pulsing sound. Very low but definitely there. Could this be from the Alphine amp. When I shut the radio off I can still hear it. Is the amp always on, even though the radio (D300 new) is off? I'm sure it's not the blower. Anyone got a clue? 1991 Diablo
  9. Try Evans in Ohio. They fixed two of my 91 wheels that were bent. Good as new>
  10. The company who did this was from LA and out of business (wonder why?) They were called "Parking Valet" The problem is that the installation is welded to the front under the headlights. The idiot who thought of this didn't think that if you ever want to take out the light assembly, you couldn't with this system. If your out there...your a jack ass! I have to weld them off to get the assembly out for painting.
  11. Some of the outside before new paint.
  12. Andrew, Mine was all shrinking that's why I changed it. The metal is alum. and is bolted from the opposite side in the middle of the metal panel inside the engine area. The drivers side you can access above where the battery is located, and the pass. side is above the gas tank area. You need to take many things apart to get to it. Not an easy fix. Smoke the window until you fix it. Hope this helps. JP
  13. Nothing like NEW! All leather was replaced. In fact, what wasn't replaced?
