  1. That should be large poster size. Was it?
  2. Here are some from the newspaper. You just got to get through the photos of he people. http://www.courant.com/entertainment/hc-pi...otogallery.html
  3. A HUGE thanks to Dan Bloom and the guys at Lamborghini of Boston for shipping down 5 cars to Connecticut for the Concorso Ferrari and Friends Charity event. Though raining, 117 cars showed up and a few thousand people A BIG Thanks for letting me drive the Green and black ones. These guy gave a tremendous education to myself and the spectators. I drove like a grandma but Dan demonstrated the power. Simply amazing! But what impressed me equally is the ease of driving like an everyday Honda.
  4. So crazy when you look at each picture and see that they are shades off from each other. And both of these pics are different from what's in front of me.
  5. Today, 10 wheels are being sprayed Pearl Gold Met. It is hard to tell but this is a sample of it. Getting the matt clear is the important part.
  6. FWIW, I happy to try to help him get back on HERE. I think his work, not his selling, would be more appreciated here than it is on Fchatter. We, here, are more open to modifications.....especially if it beneficial to all who own.
  7. What it might be is someone blocked him in all sorts of ways. Problems is, I think the blocking was forgotten about for a few years lololol I tried putting Chad in touch with Allan or a Mod. Let's see if they can figure it out for him.
  8. George, your pictures was not deleted, as you posted it, the thread was moved to the: Lambo Power > Feedback > Got a question or complaint for the Moderators? Also, from what I understand, the mods are working on restoring Chad's posting abilities. Just not advertising something for sale. So I do not think you starting a Super Countach thread will be necessary.
  9. Agree. A few months ago, I was searching for an Espada for my brother to restore. Most were S3. Though this one is in better condition, I had found at least 3 that were in the 65k -80k price that were close to this. So, yes, I hope it sells for a 100k but seller should be happy with a little less. BTW, I have seen 2 highly restored Espadas sell for 250k and 325k+-
  10. For a very long time, like 3yrs, I have wanted to experiment with Leatherique. It was suggested to me by a some who has many saddles......and some Lambos. I have been told by several other horse people that they use this on their saddles. Then found out that it is used in many leather restoration shops. So, finally, I went to ebay. The first is the product on the car, sitting in the sun. It does what it says it does. It does revive cardboard leather. It does lift the dirt out. Patience is important, may take a 2nd time to do. I may do mine twice. The oil is applied by hand, with a latex gloves on. The cleaner, used afterwards, is sprayed on then brushed in. Then wiped off. The rear deck is the most important. That black was almost gray and hard as cardboard. Just the oil on there makes it look good.
  11. Mods, remind me...is Chad banned from even posting? He has a monster motor he's been building and has put off posting here because he believes he is banned. I told him to tried this morning again, but could not. It's a very cool build and VERY informative as well as his QV clutch findings. It also shows the relationship between the Countach and Diablo and well as the Countach and Murcielago....as well as the Countach and the boat motor. I understand that he should become a sponsor if he advertises but this is not a "sale" thread, just some cool stuff. Was his ban for just posting given then forgotten about? I would hope to see him here again but it up to you guys. Most of all, it would be great to increase the thread activities.
  12. As some others said, It is fuel or ignition. That said, it is not all that expensive to go after some of those parts....coils, pumps, wiring, wires etc. A multimeter may be you best friend now. Sadly with the Countach, we all know that every handful of years we gotta dump money into them. I think it's been 11years since I have been chasing a "losing power while driving a gradual incline" problem. I've done all I want to do myself. I know it is time I send the car out for carbs and ignition work. Hopefully later this year, been focusing on the Jarama and Urraco. Good luck and just handed it over to your shop and be done with the inconvenience/aggravation etc The longer the problem persists, the more chances of people disliking their cars.....
  13. Wheel arches and directional lenses give it away immediately.
  14. These are the next set to be blasted and paint gold along with the Miura style Jarama wheels. Yes, someone tried to polish them....... FYI, that is not the correct gold color on there.
  15. I see it's been a few weeks since any post in Old School, so....... I had been on the hunt for wheel paint codes for a few years. The gold was always elusive. The silver was down to 2 or 3 codes. The gold code, which was given by someone in Europe, is RAL 1036 Perl Gold. The silver, pictured here, is RAL 9006 White Aluminum. Now, when looking at a spare wheel or an old original wheel, some use that silver color, which maybe Argent Silver....a very basic and common color. I have found that neither is incorrect. I almost think that over the decades that these may have just lost there brilliant look to them. I don't know, I am not an expert on paint. Some may stand to correct me and I am open to everything. Both then use a matt clear. Currently, I have 15 wheel to be painted. 10 Urraco and 5 Jarama. The factory prototype wheels that are on the Urraco had been sent out to be blasted and now have been painted RAL9006 White Aluminum. When finished they were way too glossy, which is a common problem for the few who refinished Lamborghini old wheels. This gave it a horrible look but it is what modern wheels are. We corrected this. I am very happy with they way they came out.
  16. Looks fun. But this car definitely looks awkward doing it. Not graceful.
  17. The best way to buy a project is to do what Derek did. Ask around on the forum and privately. Once it's on ebay and the other places, the deep pockets come running.
  18. These 2 will sell. They always sell. There are eyes on these from all over the world. That Espada the was on auction, that was apart and in a field sold for 70k. Which outrageous. Probably a 30-40k car at best. However the folks overseas that bought it have bought messed up Esapdas, restored to the highest standards and have sold for 250k and the other 325k (possibly more than that). It's people like that that will get these cars.
  19. Yeah, the 25ths, it's sometimes a crap shoot and tough to understand why some sell for they're own price. This was yesterday: THE ANDREWS COLLECTION 2 May 2015 Lot 192 1990 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary To be auctioned on Saturday, May 2, 2015 showing 1,240 kilometers from new Without Reserve Sold for $451,000 Chassis no. ZA9CA05A1LLA12049
  20. Cool video. Car looks good. Sounds even better. Nice knees . Damn wiper flappin........
  21. They have sold a few Espadas over the years. One being that oddball convertible last year.
  22. Remember Frank from NJ with the Countach? He made impossible for anyone to buy his car a few years back.
