  1. Thanks Allan, now that I have had some "one on one" time with the car I fully understand your decision to get rid of the newer cars, this freaking thing brings out this weird viseral feeling that I have not had with any of the newer exotics I get to play with.
  2. not sure until we pull all the stock components off, we are discussing 2ndary cat bypass pipes, muffler bypass x-pipe (similar to our Murcielago setup), and an ECU tune.
  3. A week or so ago I contacted a customer of mine the next state over. We interact on the forums and his Diablo SV had always stuck out to me in his pictures and posts... For quite some time now I have wanted to get a Diablo in to take apart and see what type of products we can develop for it... As some of (or all of) you Lamborghini enthusiasts know the aftermarket for the Diablo is lacking to say the least. The selection of mufflers and other exhaust components is Tubi, and.... well, Tubi. Seeing as how our Gallardo and Murcielago clientele has been growing exponentially it seemed natural that we expand our model lineup to include the "older" cars... I contacted the owner of the car and explained my goals, hopes and dreams for the Diablo... He was EXCITED and felt the same way I did about the lack of aftermarket support for the iconic Diablo cars. After our initial talk we set up a time to have the car dropped off and a ride home for the customer arranged. Monday night (1/16/12) the customer arrived in the car.. it was as spectacualr in person as in the pictures! (I was/am excited if you havent gotten that yet). The next morning we wasted no time and dug right in: How she arrived: 7:30 this morning: Stay tuned for power upgrades....
  4. I just cross posted this on a local forum I go on from time to time and some guy said (and I quote): "I've never been a fan of Trapezoids on wheels. Lots of better looking [and better] super cars out there... Nissan GTR Most Ferrari's Ford GT Hennesy Venom GT Ronin's Exige" HAHA , I thought that would give you guys a laugh.
  5. what are you talking about? I dont know if that was a plug for LNB but it is 100% false. NONE of our exhausts (with the exception of cat bypass pipes) trip the CEL. we designed them all on our shop Gallardo (an 06') and the CEL has NEVER come on.
  6. i have sold a few VF kits (not for lambos) but I spoke to paul @ VF about the LP kit last time I ordered a kit and I think he said they were in the 30-35k range.
  7. Final Numbers: EVOMSit ECU tune, 2ndary cat bypass pipes and custom mufflers:
  8. Congrats on the pickup! The G looks like a matchbox car next to the AMG and HSE haha.
  9. WOW, someone put a ton of money into that car. The wheels dont look bad on there, I would rather just buy a lambo though.
  10. just a FYI, I have held 3 meetings so far with my fabrication/engineering teams about the LP700 exhaust. We have a game plan laid out to get it done, friday I talked to an owner who will hopefully be sending me his car. If all goes as planned Fabspeed should have an Aventador exhaust ready to Demo within a month or two!
  11. I ran into the same problem last time I took our G out, from the research I did everything pointed at NOT jumping the car, something about frying the ECU's. It appears it worked for you though. Luckily for me The car started without too much cranking (ours is on a Lambo branded tender too)
  12. I disagree, I think it looks very similar to the SV (from the design of the uprights to the movement through the spoiler itself). There is a very fine line between going over the top and making it look good and I think the RSC guys walked that line very well and executed perfectly. Had the uprights extended down the back of the car onto the rear bumper it would look silly (IMO). The way it was done here is perfect I think.
  13. congrats on the recent order, those are damn good pictures for a camera phone!
  14. I think the Tubi is entirely too quiet and dull, I had an 05 in yesterday with a Tubi on it and you could barely tell it had work done! Besides that, we hand make everything here in the USA of the best material available while keeping the costs down for you the consumer. I am running an end of the year sale if you are interested, the only catch is the order would need to go in today to take advantage of the special.
  15. even our hangers are beautiful! Video of the mufflers and bypass pipes: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fabspeed-Mot...101983262338264
  16. mufflers are finally done/polished/welded and mounted (we went with a slightly larger tip to fill out the cut outs in the bumper):
  17. thanks! The pass side muffler is done and polished, the driver side is being polished as we speak (Jose our polisher is the BEST i have ever seen [he puts robots to shame]) I will have more pictures of the system mounted with dyno runs and videos shortly:
  18. i would also throw in a few MRE's and a basic gun maintenance/cleaning kit as well as fishing line and hooks.
  19. thanks for the referral! I think the fabspeed is the way to go too, and i am not biased at all shoot me a PM or email if you want special forum member pricing. I have outfit a few of the lambos on this forum and a lot of the lambos on "the other" forum.
  20. A shop in MD sent this car up to me for some work (exhaust/tune/etc.) We strapped it down on our AWD Dynojet 424XLC2 to get some baseline numbers. What we came up with was 455awhp and 488tq bone stock. Stay tuned for dyno runs as each performance part is added. (I know it looks like it has an exhaust, this is just custom tips because the stock ones wouldnt work with the body kit)
  21. stock setup new 2ndary cat bypass waiting for install playing with some tip ideas... thoughts?
