  6. From a UK company, they mad four but all are sold and the company is gone. If there were enough people to order them we could easily get them made. Mine cost 900 British pounds unpainted and without the brackets, but it is perfect in every detail.
  7. Take it to any GOOD sailplane repair shop, it will be better than new
  8. You can not fix this problem. The skin is aluminium and beneath this is a foam core. Water moisture gets in and then gets through the joints in the aluminium. I also had this problem, it can not be fixed except by buying a replacement, which I did, made out of carbon/glass fiber. Even if they paint it a thousand times it will still come back
  9. They did a magazine shoot of my car, trying to upload pics I get this message, any ideas ?? 11. Hi Vic and Albert. Yes I suppose the shaft could be oversize, however no way of ever finding that out from Lamborghin !!. I think just lubricating the shaft with the equivelant of brake cylinder grease will do and my sticky problem has not been too bad, even though the ambient temp here now is over 40 dg C. I am sure if I had a standard collar in it would have failed again. As long as the current collar lasts 5000km then that is two to three years and for 1200 Euros I do not mind pulling the engine every three years at it gives a good chance to service anything else. I now have ten collars and two original bearings, one in the car one spare so the most it is going to cost is the 1200 Euros to pull and fit the motor, but I would still like to get a properly made bearind and collar fitted when Albert has them completed. I am sure Albert that your engineers will agree that just to lubricate the shaft with the right stuff will do ( as well as pack the collar. )

    Thank you

For those that voted for my daughter. She made it through to the finals in London, proud dad going over on the 30th to see her there. Kind regards Terry
  13. OK Thanks Albert. There is one other slight problem that you might like to discuss with them. As I understand it ( from a friend who is a metallurgist ) the steel used by Lamborgini in the original TO collar actually acts a lubricant, from the structure of the steel. Of course the billet steel does not. Is there a suggested way of overcoming this. Certainly, so far my billet steel collar is trouble free, except that when hot it is quite stiff and the release and application of the clutch can be " notchy " ie a not so smooth, any help from your engineers would be of help. Kind regards Terry
  14. I have ten of those already, made just like that out of high grade steel, It is the bearing that is the problem
