The M6 is said to have a noticeable edge in driving feel over the M5 according to the media. I now await forum members responses If so it will be a truly awe inspiring car because for just straight out performance the M5 is an amazing car.
  3. right on, except i would get it with black leather with red stitching. the 260 watt system is the one i would get too cuz then i could upgrade without removing the $10k amp that comes on the big system which imo sucks. i work on these cars everyday and they still look sexy to me. my only other recomendation would be the 06 Vanquish S. Far better car then the 05 in every sence. we work on a lot of DB9's but hardly any Vanquish S they are pretty reliable. sorry bout that cruise control abolfaz. I agree, I spent a week going back on forth on doing the Vanquish or the db9. In the end I would have done the Van if I was only getting one car now but I really want a lambo as well and I just could not financially swing the Van and a lambo.
  4. Yea I guess I just hate knowing they are priced off some arbitrary number plucked from the sky when I could have one of the lower end Patek's for about the same money. I just like the styling on the jaquet better and to think about a more traditional look in the first place is gong out on a limb for me. I think once the name cultivates a following I might not lose as much. I am going to see how much the dealer will come off on the price and compare in person side by side with a Glashutte Original. Thanks for the input.
  5. I know they are priced in the AP/GO ETC... range and not as well known, I assume this means bad resale? The quality looks very good to me and I love the styling. Anyone know what the discount off retail should be on these? I just can not justify buying another sport type watch now already having all the ones that I really want. I have that itch for another watch so I am looking into a Jaquet-Droz/ Glashutte O/ F.P. Journe type, something a bit more tradition but with a modern flare, something a bit out of the ordinary. I like this look for those who have not seen one in person the pics don't show the detail and depth of the design.
  6. LOL glad you like my pick Olivier. I will snap some pics for sure, I need to let something go now to make room for her or find more spaces LOL

Yea but the old 850 would not run long enough for anyone to see how good it looked. You would need to live off a main road for people to appreciate it sitting in the driveway

I love the 6 series car to bad the dash is like looking over a runway, the gauges would probably be easier to read if they were in the glove box and of course it has that wonderful creation we love the I drive. It will be hard to stay away from the M6 though it may just be to good regardless of the interior. M5 power with looks.
  9. DB9 coupe / Six speed/ nav/ black with tan/ red calipers/ black piano wood and door inserts/ optional chrome wheel/ linn 260watt sound/ optional bright front grill/ tire pressure moniter/ heated seats/
  10. Nothing major that would leave you on the side of the road or anything, but little annoying things like handles that break off in your hand, hoods that don't close unless you have three people, FUNKY electrical gremlins, weird tranny shifting, Climate control system that makes no sense and NO MOTHER F_CKING CRUISE CONTROL! What iritates me the most is the ford/jaguar/mazda parts that are in the astons! Not big parts, but little $hit in the dash/interior. That would drive me crazy. Lets hope I do not have those problems. I have had the sting of British cars more the once but this time it is going to be diffrent :thumb
  11. WHAT? I have a very good looking 03 Volante that might say otherwise... Really? When I was asking around everyone who had a newer car said it was for the most part problem free, most were second or thrid time owners and keep going back. Did not know it was that far out
  12. <-stupid both of you need to go to a mirror and slap yourselves i wouldnt wish that car on anyone. way too many problems and if you are looking for a daily driver you would get sick of this car in a hurry. LOL agree, I would rather have a VW Thing and in a few years they will both be worth the same money. I would hold out for the new Aston Martin Radiad if your looking for four doors like the spur. The Aston has drop dead looks, unbelievable quality, great performance, four doors and the nav is not bad not to mention you get the added bonus of having the first one around how exclusive is that.
  13. Sorry but 650hp SC camaro and 114 trap? something is not right with that pass looks like he let off or broke. That SL is moving high tens is impressive and the 60' is pretty good for a car I assume has stock suspension and that much weight.
  14. I do not care for the look of the T3 myself but very collectable, I don't think you would have a problem selling it. The 50th sub should sell easy, I have had a dozen or so people try to buy mine off my wrist, Like rakjoe it is the only Rolex I wear now but if I had the money for a Platinum Master piece
  15. Good look first the Rapide now a DBS and the V8 coming this year to the US Aston is really steeping up the line. Lets just hope the resale improves a bit. I really hope they do not become to common, the rarity is what drew me to them in the first place.
  16. Hummm works fine for me but it is a zip file, The pics are large to load here and being the computer illiterate person I am I can not resize. Here try this http://motorcars-intl.com/iimages/new/M-3679_1.jpg
  17. Here is a SV with a GT kit the car is for sale now asking $179 looks pretty good to me, maybe Allan knows a bit about this one
  18. if you get a new one to lease then make sure that they do a hide food. we get a lot of cars in for noises all over the car and that is because they are still new and not broken in and the leather is tight. it will make wierd noises if you do not get the hide food. other than that i love the car. if you do get it and you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. but if you have the money get the 06 Vanquish S. Thanks for the advice and offer to answer questions. I have a appointment tomorrow with the dealer so baring any dealership games we shall see. I agree the Vanquish is hot and I have considered it but for a driver I think the DB9 is a bit more well suited. Not to mention done right the db9 can be pretty sexy in its own right, some nice black faced rims are on the list. Not to mention the G car will be my excitment for the weekend.
  19. LOL by far best post ever. That GT looks hot in white, what a car raw, low and fast.
  20. LOL 65K for a early esprit, without being under another car thats funny but with a history :finga: That Gel coat will never be the same, repaint on that car is scary because if it had cracks they will be back. The bad thing about early cars is Cracked gel coat is very expensive to fix right and looks like hell when cracked, its easy to bondo fill and repaint but the new buyer will have a issue soon as the weather turns cold, buyer beware know what your looking at on these cars.
  21. One of my buddies owns one and I have driven it quite a bit. We both looked at getting one he did and I went with the Mercedes CLS55 AMG. I personally hate the I-drive on all BMWs with every bit of my sole, its quite similar to what I assume it would be like programing a NASA space shuttle computer while trying to drive and IMO the worse thing that has ever made its way into a car(watch top gears report on the M6 vs aston martin and porsche LOL sums it up well). The launch mode is pretty cool but I did not care for the trans myself, I personally am just not an E-gear kinda guy. The power on the other hand is impressive, the thing is flat out fast and very fun to drive, the quality is BWM a very well put together car. For my taste its just a bit plain for such an otherwise great car but looks are always subjective.
  22. Aston of ATL happened to have one on the lot, only problem is I do not know if the red interior is for me I prefer the tan. I may lease if I go with a new one so the price drop would not catch up to me. Cisco working for Aston and being around them all the time would you recommend this as a reliable driver?
  23. Ford racing has headers for the GTs motor placement http://www.fordracingparts.com/fordgt/fordgt.asp its just a 5.4 mod motor so a lot of parts are out there for it. More boost is the most basic upgrade but I am not sure how much they have tweaked it to be in the 500 range already. I will be at Roush Racing next week and I will ask the techs for some info for you. I know Roush has already turned up that power plant and might as well get it straight from the techs that built it.
  24. I am not sure how big the tank is but the sticker claimed 11 city and 14 hyw not good but a 6.0 liter V12 in a somewhat big performance car guess it is as good as I would hope for. The 150 Miles to the tank was on the DB7 but not sure how it compares with the 9? Hell the Veyron only gets 12mins run time to a 100 liter tank at full tilt so it could be worse
