  1. I remember this roadster it use to be here in the states in New Jersey to be exact. I loved the color and the accented purple piping on the seats.
  2. How does the Shock Diagnostic switch under the dashboard work for determining which shock actuater/connection is not functioning? Thanks
  3. Wow seeing those pics sure brought back some memories. Some serious coin was dropped on that car for maintenance through the years. Enjoy!
  4. Very True, I have a new fluid canister on order. Once it comes, I am just going to replace it at $160.00, why not. The light just annoys me expecially if everything is working e.g spraying the windshild and headlights.
  5. Looking for some guidance. My windshield low fluid yellow warning light came on. Went in the Diablo to the local Parts store and bought gallon and topped off the reservoir in the front trunk compartment. After driving home from the local part store, 5 miles the light is still on. How do you reset it or does it go off in time after driving a longer period? If I disconnect the battery will it go off? Thanks
  6. No. I missed that opportunity but saw it later at the Local Lamborghini Dealership prior to it being prepared for the display floor and was able to snap it up before it went on the display. I was patient and it reappeared. It currently has 12,321 miles. Thanks for the complement
  7. I had the clearcoat removed and had the aluminum lips repolished. This was the best thing I did next to having the calipers painted in Rosso Vik with the Lamborghini insignia. I keep the shine up with a little Mothers Aluminum polish every couple of months, this keeps them looking like chrome. As for the inner barrels I learned a trick to keep the brake dust off / or stop the build up " Fantastic".
  8. Wow I saw it, you captured it in at 5:15 into the stream. Good deal Thanks
  9. PM sent - In the time that I have owned it I have put about 1K miles on it. It's pretty prestine with hardly any visable wear the undercarrage is just as clean. I will be doing the brakes this week. The previous owner took very good care of it and I have been successful in continuing that effort.
  10. Hey, I had a photoshoot with my Monterey Edition SV this past summer. I figured I would share a few of the results. They came out better than I expected. http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures001.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures017.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures008.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures007.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures022.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures034.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures005.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures012.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...oSVdecal003.jpg
  11. You can see clearly the difference in hight and the non-molded adjustable center insert rear flap
  12. I have an SV and mine doesn't sit that high. I'm skeptical that it is actually a factory wing. I would lean more toward an aftermarket wing. It kind of cheapens the 6.0, if you move forward with it remove it.
  13. I think it's the panel right behind and above the rear bumper.
  14. Hey its Ben, I bought the Fram (Orange) filter when I had my 92 and was recommneded to return it as other Diablo owners were having various problems. I don't remember what the specifics were now as this was over 4 years ago but none the less, I swiftly returned it and bought the K&N replacement and never had a problem. Our boys at Alpha Clinic did the oil change for me.
  15. Since you have my old 91, the source where I bought the ball from was Italian Carparts. I'm not sure if they still have them but thats where I bought it. I hated the original.
  16. That is a great write up. 1 question was it difficult or a challenge to back the diablo on those mini ramps without having them move as your rolling back?
  17. Coming from an owner of a 98 Monterey Edition SV myself, I wish you the best of luck with your new acquisition. The 96K was a great price but I would follow up with the seller for some financial support as the 96K can shoot up pretty quickly to the point it is not a bargain any more. The SV is a rare Diablo.
  18. Yes I would agree on both but it has been a very short time that he has had ownership. Has it been a month? It's not like he's used it for 6 months then these things are happening also he has mentioned other issues with this SV in another thread. I would still raise it and negotiate a middle ground on financial assistence for repairs. I guess I am more critical than most.
  19. Just curious didn't your SV have a complete over haul by a Lamborghini specialist/dealer before you bought it? I thought that was a great selling point in the ebay ad I think it said "Anything that was needed was repaired/serviced". Did you have a PPI done on the SV before you bought it. It just seems that you are having alot of problems and you just got it. I would go back to them and see what they could do to help you with the repair costs
  20. What is the recommended Brake fluid to use in a 98 Diablo SV?
  21. I own a 98 Monterey Edition SV and I have to say it's the best exotic I have ever owned. The look is aggressive and the handling is great. Not many around like the VT's and with the SV on the side it looks like it is ready for the track. I have owned mine for 2 years and with regular spring and fall fluid changes it runs like a champ. I will not be parting with mine and this is my 3rd Lambo.
  22. Thats my Monterey Edition 98 SV. Just heading home after an exotic car display in Glen Cove Long Island. Derek, young and very talented held a photo shoot at the local Country club after the show. He caught some amazing shots of my SV. Got to give him props on his skills
  23. Hello, does anyone know any Histroy details about the Red SE30 at Interstate Motorsport. I understand it was a California car. It had a complete engine out servicing on the car and states it is a 2 owner (Correction 6 owner) car with 22K on the clock. I am waiting on the paperwork now. I saw pics of it recently at the Poconos Concourse and it looked good. He has an asking price of 139K now dropped it 20K. He had it listed at on time at 165K. I'm just throwing the idea around in my head as my heart is leaning for a purple one. Just got the Carfax it is a 6 Owner car. I just received the maintenance records on the engine out service with new clutch from Interstate.
