  1. Considering it has great traction on the street for a car of it's power, even when it's modified, not much. Just watch for the TT Vipers putting down around 1000rwhp/tq on pump gas and you'll be good to go lol In reality, living in South FL, we have tons of heavily modified Porsches, Vipers, POS's, Stangs etc. I've heard that comment from others as well (I think even the guys from Top Gear mentioned that?), the chassis is so strong and well designed that it's begging for more power.
  2. I don't get what you mean, looks fine? If your wondering why the torque band is so flat it's b/c of the twin-screw blower, the design produces basically full boost over the whole power band. If anything Allan's dyno had some weird dips and spikes and seemed quite jerky, not sure why unless that's normal for a Murci. Every car we've had dynoed usually has a relatively smooth plot for both hp/tq like yours. FGT redlines at 6500 rpm right? Weird little dip and spike right around 6300 rpm as he pointed out. Looks kinda like a loss of spark for a split sec or ecu glitch as the hp and tq both dropped off and regained at the same point.
  3. Awsome, that was the dude who swapped out the stock pulley. That was hilarious watching him mess with the WRX
  4. You have to admit, it does resemble a BIG, CHROME PLATED, BEN-WA BALL. romandad, whats that??? heh, go ask some of the girls you know
  5. That's what I heard as well, would be great to see them campaign the cars. But what 4.0 V8 is everybody talking about, I don't know of a 4L Ford V8? Even if they allow the s/c, I think they'll be better off with some sort of n/a engine. The charger, even intercooled, would suffer from heat soak in long, hard endurance runs. Now a TT setup on the FGT on the other hand.....
  6. don't like it either, rather go for an carbon or "M" knob.
  7. I think Road Fly has a boad. But god do they have the most awful layout to read, post, and search :x edit - n/m guess not, thought they did, they have Bentley http://www.roadfly.com/forums/
  8. The FGT already has a twin-screw blower, ie: Kenne Bell, Whipple. And a ported eaton??? - why would he want a heat soaking, power robbing regular roots blower lol. None share engines, the 03/04 is an iron block/forged internal 4.6, and the FGT and Lighting motors are completley different except for that they both displace 5.4L. Whipple though I hear is working with Ford to offer a bigger twin-screw blower through the Ford Racing branch. Think somehwere around the 3.3L size , that perk you up Mike lol.
  9. Watch your kids on the powerwheels, little girls might do this: http://www.revver.com/video/2779/?__start_...ust_started__=1
  10. YES, that was me too! Ha , I was supposed to go out with them to eat also. Barton G's rocks, food and presentation is incredible. I could've met you lol. I forgot to ask what color it was so wasn't sure if it was yours or not. Mikes becomming popular, poeple are gonna start stalking you. lol at the powerwheels. When I was younger a friends dad had a go-gart that we used to run around. Started doing some work to it and we took it out when he left one day not knowing how fast it was now, almost killed ourselves. From what I remember it had no govenor, some kinda of souped up motor and other stuff, damn thing had almost no traction and swapped ends instantly
  11. Gorgeous  You didn't happen to eat at Barton G's recently? Buddy and his wife went there to eat and said they saw a FGT and some others, Carrera GT, Murci etc. But that was his 1st time as well seing the FGT in the flesh and fell in love with it, says he might purchase black/silver stripe now. I didn't ask what color it was, so not sure if it was you?
  12. Funny thing about the I-drive, actually read something from the guys at BMW stating they might have been to "bold" putting I-drive in thinking everyone will like and understand it. One of my buddies was about to declare a jihad on I-Drive the other week in his new 750 , he's had some glitches but they were supposed to be fixed. He starts cursing at it like it s a person, I give it another week before he takes his fist to it lol. I don't think it's necassarily hard to understand, but just more of an annoyance to use between the layout and menu's, and going through one thing after another to get to where you want etc.
  13. I checked one out at a dealer, didn't test drive as I'm still thinking of picking up an e39 M5, but I rode in a friends a couple times. IMO, the e60 just doesn't have the panache or presence of the e39, the last M5 just looks so mean in a refined sort of way. The exterior/interior of the e60 just comes off as cold to me and cheap even though fit and finish is excellent. Performance wise the e60 M5 is better the the e39, but thats a given. However it's like driving a computer on 4 wheels, I already know somebody who sold his to get back into an e39 M5. He loved the car but couldn't stand not having a manual trans and it's way to computerized. Very fast as said above. But theres something about it, it just doesn't move me the way the e39 does. Especially for the price now, the e39 M5 is a bargain and in a class of it's own IMO. We've had the AMG's and had nothing but problems, the RS6 was numb to me and still not as quick as an e39 M5, and neither offered a manual trans. Easy choice for me. edit - forgot about the tranny, it's still kinda jerky down low and sometimes shift kinda jerky in regular driving (but there are so many variances ie: speed, settings, auto/manual mode etc), but when flat out it's better. Just quick and firm depending on the setting.
  14. 150 to a tank in Bentley CGT, they have almost a 24 gallon tank. Thats like around 6 mpg, spirited driving indeed . I love the 6 speed manual DB9's, very hard to come by, most have the auto-manual. Try to find one with the sport exhaust option, sounds even more incredible.
