Here is a short vid of that car in acton. What a nice car. The bike and car had several runs but didnt get all of them on camera. In the end it was 2-2. that lambo is very fast and for a bike that was bought and ridden for the first time a week before the race it is damn fast. Have to love the BMW for how fast it is.

Any one know of an 08 spyder with low miles and a 6spd for a good deal?

Biggest thing I found with the airports was any airport with any type of FAA funding is can not have anything but planes on the runway. That is why we changed to a road shut down. Biggest thing I am finding is a two lane road is not very wide. Working on 3 wide for a little more room.

Its not easy to find 2-3 miles of good road to shut down. Want to keep it safe and have plenty of shut down. Dont really want cars running wot at 200mph for too long either. I think a mile is plenty to see who is faster. if it takes longer then a mile to pass the other car in 99% of all races you would lose. Come on guys give me your thoughts on who would attend and what you would bring out.

I wil chime in although its not in Cali. I am working on closing several miles of straight, flat road to put together a heads up race here in NM. I am trying to get a feel for how money people would come out etc. I have spoken with the state, traffic control etc. It seems very realistic. How many of you guys would come to NM to go heads up? We will have it set up nice with food etc. Working on the traffic plan etc this week. It would be a one mile heads up or if you didnt want to race and just want to run flat out for a mile we can do single runs as well. We would have beams set up for the start and end. Will also try and have 3 camera angles set up for start, middle and end. Any ideas or info would be great. This is a list of local cars so far. 1. I am sure most of the business owners on this site will know this right away. A friend of mine wanted to buy or lease a lambo and use it for work. He is a doctor and runs and owns a medical practice. His cpa said there is no way to write it off? I thought if the company bought/leased the item in question and it was used for busniess it was able to be written off. Any tax codes or info would be great guys. Thanks

Your vid said custom engine build custom turbo? Can you go into detail on what your custom engine and turbo include? How does this kit compare to a build motor running the aps kit?

Was the 997tt full weight?

what kind of whp was the 997 tt making? Both cars still awd, cost on the 996 tt pkg? Those cars are really moving.

If you dont mind me asking what powr level were you running when it went? Was it when you did a hard launch, down shift etc?

Good to know, I agree I always liked the every day use of the amg's. I do like the sound and style of lambos and exotics but the sl65 was very fast and could drive all day long. I think the slr adds the exotic/supercar feel and look to the everyday use of the amg.
