  1. MB s63 AMG is a great daily. luxury, performance, comfort, refined.
  2. Having had 2 Gallardo coupes, 2G spyders, 1 Murci, 1 LP640 roadster, 1 560 here is my perspective: The Gallardo is by far a more up-to-date car relative to the Murci. It's level of advancement far outshines the murci. The 560 more so. As a car thats nimble and fun to drive, the G/560 is light years ahead. Having gone from an LP640 to a 560 the 560 blows the doors imho off the LP 640 when it comes to "joy of driving". Of all these cars, reliability has never been an issue to me. The 560 is a modern exotic that meets/exceeds the requirements and expectations that one would expect in this class of car for todays buyer into the exotic vehicle segment- at least for a bit longer... ( see below). And, its priced well. But the Murci has 1 thing over the G and it is a BIG "1 thing". It has a curb appeal that the G/560 cannot compete as a result of its shear size./ cool doors It has a presence driving or parked on the road that can't be beat. But thats it. So, if you are looking for the "trophy looking" mate with less intellect, go for a Murci. Otherwise, 560 is it. As a side note, when the new murci replacement comes out- It will undoubtably resolve these downfalls that the Murci has making it the exotic to own. The perfect mate inside and out. I will take one please
  3. I bought my gf a loaded new E coupe in white with brown/tan interior with the AMG body kit for a DD. The car is a great. It is a great choice. Great features The coupe looks much better imho with the benz symbol in the grill over the 4 door with the emblem. I prefer the prior E class 4 door in style. It has alot ot offer for its price nad compared to my 08 s63 AMG, thre is huge value in it. Hope it helps.
  4. Thanks all for the posts. I have been reading more and more on this out of curiosity. I would certainly bet on Einstein's theories. The affidavit is one scary argument aginst the operation of CERN. Makes for a terrific movie, hopefully I can walk away at the end of the show. My view... it is a conCERN- wait is that a sign???
  5. proof that there is an ass for every seat
  6. I have driven the GT speed and definately noticed the difference compared to my GTC. Its got a sportier tuned suspension, and you can feel it is faster . The tiny spoiler that lifts below the rear window is open to debate if its amicable or not. There is enough to warrant a switch if you value that extra performance in the daily driver. To me, the GTC is fantastic the way it is. The GT speed is that much more. It goes!
  7. I totally agree Allan I drive an 07 GTC as my daily driver. Awesome smooth power, awesome quietness from the double thickness windows, awesome fit n finish and the sound system is great. You escape from the world in it and can welcome the world at the push of a button. Massage while you sit idle in traffic- oh yah! Total class. It sets the bar. The only place to go from here imho is a drophead coupe- but its way too ostentatious compared to the GTC for me to be seen in... Not to be a hypocrit driving a Lambo, but I guess when its an exotic sports car the " wow-thats-cool-factor" outweighs the negativity of "showyness" that I see with the massive Rolls on the road.
  8. I am on my third H2- I have had an 03, 05, and now have an 08. I have also owned jeep grand cherokees, a bmw x5 ( one of the first years it came out, I forgot the yr), a 2007 range rover supercharged sport-the other car for the bad weather next to my Lambos, porsches, Benzes and Bimmers. Simply put, before anyone should comment on its dislike, sit in one and go for a drive. There is no other vehicle that gives the impression that an H2 does. The high beltline, small windows, extra space away from the doors when you sit, high sitting position and enormous exterior look has made this an icon if you want a truly real Tonka truck. Sure there are other SUV's with more power, or more luxury... okay. I tried a fully loaded supercharged sport Rover for 10 months through Canadas winters and found I would take an H2 anyday. I may not pass everyone on the road, but I certainly can get around anyone off it. If you run into me, you will be at the height of my feet. Its the feeling of being safe in it that this SUV gives that no other SUV can compete with. If you don't agree, wait for a blizzard and then go test driving SUV's... the H2 will amaze you. so, I love it. And thats why I have had 3.
  9. I picked up a new Elise while waiting for my next Lambo to arrive. I had to try it out in the meanwhile. Its Ardent Red, Black Pack, Touring pack, Starshield, Black Leather. After 2 months of driving it here are my thoughts...Its like the train in the story "The Little Engine That Could", and this car can! 1. It is a street legal go-cart. Period. 2. It loves turns... better than my 997S- you can push it and it never gives up- 1g apparently. Every turn I get to in it I have tried to push the back end out and it just doesn't break free. The more you push it, the more you learn to respect it. And no body roll. Except yours 3. its a high reving car so wind it up once the engine is warm, then shift. The engine is quite loud actually- not a growl like a Lambo and do not expect to hear it resonate in a tunnel- it doesn't. 4. Its a drivers car- forget luxury, its Raw. Yes, the floor boards glisten with plush shag aluminum 5. The speedometer looks like those miniature toy car models that have a sticker for a speedometer. The steering wheel is momo and small. This is the actual size: 0 Elise steering Wheel 6. You can hear little rocks scurry under the car while you drive. 7. The car is so low to the ground that all you see is the underside of the car infront. Its lower than a sled 8. The radio is, well, did I say the engine is loud? if you want music go for the premium sound system. 9. Shifting is bang on 10. The Black pack makes the car look sharp. 11. No torque. If there is, I cant feel it. 12. 40 L tank. And it will go very far on a tank. When I first filled it up, it cost $28.00 cdn with 1 bar remaining on the fuel gauge. I thought there must have been a problem with the gas hose so I kept trying to put more and more gas into it. 13. It is a tiny car. One friend of mine- about 6'2, 210lbs got stuck in it and could not get out of it without me taking the roof off and pulling him out using both his arms as anchorage. You can wash it in under 1 minute. 14. You must have the scotchguard- It saves the paint. 15. The passenger seat wont move up, only the drivers so it is where it is. 16. Awesome FIRST DATE car if you want to be close to your passenger. Could make it a last date too if she is not into you. 17. The roof is easy to remove- I was told open both doors, unlatch the driver side first, roll it up towards the passenger side until you reach the first overhead bar, remove and insert the bar into the rolling up roof, roll more, remove the second bar and insert it into the rolling up roof again. Continue rolling until you reach the passenger side then unlatch and roll. Put that sausage into the trunk. 18. If you like to track a car, this is one amazing track car. 19. The immobalizer likes to turn on automatically so if you notice the red light flashing on the speedometer while parked, you must hit the remote key fob to disengage or else it wont start. Failure to do this can also make you look foolish and end the first date. 20. Great value if you value a raw sports car. As much as it is cool, fun, raw it does take its toll on your body. You fall into it and have to contort yourself out Cirque Du Soleil style. Its like giving yourself an adjustement...right DRS? It is a great car for what it is. Nothing is like it and looks like it. And, you will have fun with it- no doubt.
