Aren't the panel's all carbon? Maybe they took down some of the gloss layers and painted on the carbon directly?

can't be paid... impossible to paint carbon weaves like that.... possible to create somewhat the texture, but not the exact consistent weaves like that.

and even if raw carbon was coated, it'd still be dark (as carbon weave strands are black). if what we're seeing is underlayers through the paint, the car still shouldn't be white.

SEEMS most reasonable that its a "carbon weave vinyl" wrap. seems to be the most possible and efficient way to get the effect.

either that, or he had ALL the SLR panels molded, then had replacement panels made in WHITE "carbon-like" weaves (synethic weaves, to give the white threads, and weave pattern). HIGHLY doubtful though....

I believe that it is the actual carbon weave of the car.

When I was looking to buy another super car with a carbon composite body, I could see the carbon weave thru the red of the car.

(F40 to be exact)

That's just because Ferrari skimped on the numbers of paintlayers to keep weight down.
