kiram Report post Posted December 16, 2009 Does anyone know how to spin the tires from stand still position and burn out with an E gear Gallardo? I dont want to mess up the clutch, so I am asking before I attempt to do anything. Please advise...

kiram Report post Posted December 16, 2009 Yes, were you guys going to just show me videos or actually give me some tips as to how to launch?
sprite Report post Posted December 16, 2009 Turn ESP off. Put it in sport mode. Floor gas as fast as possible from standstill. The car will rev to ~4k and drop the clutch.
porter Report post Posted December 16, 2009 Depends on the year. The 09 Gs are different by virtue of launch control.

carbuff Report post Posted December 17, 2009 ..car will rev to ~4k and drop the clutch. Yes, and on early clutches, it will "drop the clutch"..."on the pavement". Not recommended, as you get about 9 launches before you are buying a new clutch. Either: a) nobody has mentioned that to you ) you have a newer car and you are OK, or c) you have $$ to burn?
