I'm interested to see where you guys have mounted the two module's and speaker that come with the CI package from Escort. Pics would be great. About to install it in the spyder. Just wanted some ideas of where to mount the display and the control mod.

I did the install in my Superleggera myself. Pretty easy to do. I do not know how to upload pics on the site. It tells me it has failed every time I try to do it. Send me your email and I will send you the pics.

We installed them all the time in Vegas. I will see if I have any photos of the installs. We always put the display and control pieces in a custom fiberglass or leather wrapped mount in the little cubby under the climate control unit. And then installed the LED on the ledge smack in the middle of the in the instrument panel where the gear selector is displayed. The GPS antenna went on the upper dash, right up against the windshield.

We have also mounted the control and display in the small cubby to the left of the steering column for the cars that have the travel package.

Call me with any questions,

We usually put the main display in the mirror. We put the controls in the center console and an on/off switch on the steering column.

thats where mine is at. etched into the mirror. the install is completely stealth and you cant see anything until you turn the car on. im not able to show you where the conbtrol box or wires are at because i did not install myself, but if you want a pic of the mirror with the unit turned on ill snap one for you

Here are some photos from a 560 that we have on the floor right now. The circle on the left is the LED light, and the one on the right is the ON/OFF switch since the original ON/OFF button is located on top of the control unit, and cannot be accessed once placed in the shroud. Hope this helps with the install.

You can have the V1 done in the same fashion.

I am looking into this setup for my V1 and Blinder M47. Where do you put the V1 main unit? Who did you get the mirror from? Thanks!!
