MHaynes772 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 Hey guys, So I wanted to make a post on here asking for a little help. There is a 16yr old girl named Kaitlin Hawkins who lives where I grew up and goes to the high school I went to. She was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. It is wrapped around her brain stem so they weren't able to remove it all. She has now lost her vision and is now having memory loss issues. Her mom recently had to quit her job because Kaitlin now requires 24/7 care. Our community is actually throwing a community wide garage sale to try and raise money to help pay for Kaitlin's medical bills. She's about to begin 18 weeks of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation. But they also have a fundraiser online trying to raise $5000. I figured I would post this on here and see if anyone would be willing to donate. Here's the link to the donation site and then a few more links to Kaitlins story. However given the season, your member status here, and the cause, this one is okay. In the future PM one of the mods if you have a similar thread. Good luck with your fundraising. Sry, next time I will put that in the post. Thanks. Matt
