rmtn Report post Posted December 20, 2011 I am a lot happier to see SAAB dead than in hands of random chinese. Rest in Pieces. It would be like like getting heart transplant from plastic surgeon. You might get the right form but lack but ultimately it would lack the soul and spirit.
soup Report post Posted December 20, 2011 It's about time. If you can't make stuff that sells, you shouldn't be in business. I'm not a fan of the saab design of the past few years, especially because the quality was lacking and there was too much Opel invovled. But Saab is a brand you fall in love with, it's something totally different than brands like BMW/Mercedes. I think Saab was never a car meant for the American market (=less people who buy it), it's a European styled. It's not flashy and it's not supposed to be. I truly find it sad that Saab is disappearing. They made really nice and beautiful cars throughout the years. To this day I'm still crazy about the rear of this car.
