VBUGKING Report post Posted June 28, 2013 I see. Very Good! How's the Aventador ? I love the new suspension set up on the 13s compared to my early 12. I had a gearbox fault, so its currently at the dealer. They have it taken care of, so I should have it back early next week. Fortis Report post Posted June 28, 2013 Owned a 570TT and it was a phenomenal car. What killed it for me was the seats. They are horrendously uncomfortable. The Sesto Elemento seats, which were just pads stuck to the chassis, were more comfortable, lol. I know what you mean but I love the way they are moulded, because of my frame they fit me perfectly but after few hours you do feel the need to stretch
PCJR Report post Posted June 29, 2013 Asking.... Not that I cannot assume as being a former TT owner... Tell me your thoughts on it. Didn't you start out as a bolt on ? My 11 SL was a stage 1.5 bolt on with boost by gear And quick shift. Wound up upgrading the clutch to handle the additional power about a year later. Car still behaved like Stock just a bunch quicker. Current 13 SL is a stage 3 with all the same including Race heads. Power delivery still very smooth, same upgraded Clutch so the drive feels the same...just faster. Couple of nice SL's f/s right now too! 2020 Report post Posted June 29, 2013 Having owned an 08 and 12 SL at the same time, then selling the 08. I find that i hould have sold the 12. Yes the 12 overall performance wise is a better/quicker car, but the experience and sound of the 08 was phenomenal. Something about the 08, to me, makes it the pinnacle of the Gallardo series and what Lambo is all about.

I also had an 08SL and once I drove a 570 I sold my 08 and never looked back. Ripper - Both cars used Motec boost by gear. Lambofan35 Report post Posted July 1, 2013 Know of anyone putting aftermarket buckets in? Aside from G's SL project? Those all carbon seats looked incredible. I'm the one who did the original write up and helped G put the seats in his SL. I changed the original carbon fiber seats and now have all carbon Tillet B1 seats with the thin suede pads. They are really comfortable. It's technically not possible to seat any lower if you use the factory rails the way I wrote up in my build thread. Compared to the regular gallardo leather seats, they seat a little lower because of the thinner padding. The 570 seats I would guess are about the same height as the leather seats or maybe a little lower if you put in thinner padding on the bottom.
