pockmark Report post Posted July 9, 2013 It's an untenable situation. The fuckers took all the electronics, gps, plotter, sat phone, flir system, stereo, etc. If that wasn't enough, they then proceeded to take the t-top, all the rigging, all the upholstery, the bow thruster and both 350hp outboards. While buying the parts back may seem like an easy solution, it's really not that simple as the serial numbers of all the missing components will come back as stolen. If you go ahead and pay the fuckers then the cops will wan't to know why you wan't the parts taken off the NCIC and state databases and just how you got the parts back! WTF! So the thieves contacted you or him to buy the stuff back? Must be some really bad dudes if you are scared to go to the cops. How much was he underinsured? Makes sense if he can make a deal on the rest of the equipment other than the items with serial numbers (the Verados), and there is no downside. If these guys are that bad, what makes you or him think that they wont rob you when you show up to do the deal? Marine Patrol is ALL OVER the "25 year old Cuban male with a 40 foot open fisher and 3 stolen 350 Verado's on the back with no serial numbers crowd." If they hear ACERE and see 3 motors they turn the lights on immediately.

GALLARDOREV Report post Posted July 12, 2013 Damn. Miami is turning ugly. Best of luck. The divide in the Miami between the rich and the poor is looking wider compared to many other cities in the states.
