Travis was one of the first moderators (and first LP members) around here and was a really nice guy. No idea where he went as he just kind of dissapeared one day. Lived in Alabama IIRC and owned one of the older Lambos. He was a pretty funny guy.

 

Mecano was indeed the celebrity pic KING! I always looked forward to his contributions as he was the founder of the VAULT! That guys collection would rival Mr. Skin!

 

PHXDiablo has one of the best entrepreneur stories I have ever read and is a super nice guy. He's still around and will probably see this thread at some point. He is currently still running the Fastlane Forum and selling copies of his AWESOME book "The Millionaire Fastlane". (IMO the best entrepreneur/mindset book you can buy!). Last I heard he was even working on a second book, which I and plenty of others are looking forward to! I always enjoy talking to him and reading his stuff, he has been a great mentor to me over the years while I pursue my own "fastlane" lifestyle.

 

All of the liars over the years always make me laugh. Some of them had ALL of us fooled for a LONG time (Alexandru and JimmyJ being 2 of the best). In the end, the truth always comes out though!

I watched him post pics and talk about all the stuff he was out doing......all the while I have been working (7 days a week..no BS) on building my business (small business) nothing like some of you fcukers on here, putting everything I make BACK into it and not splurging on myself. I was really happy for this guy (10 years younger than myself) for all the success he was having, in what I didn't know and it wasn't really any of my business.....

 

It was where I wanted to be.....enough extra money to have a great car or two (has to be Lambo) and actually be able to get out and enjoy them without being worried about paying for them.....

 

I mean damn.

Don't beat yourself up, I've been working for the last 4 to 5 months straight without any weekends and a minimum 12 hour day, I bet everyone who owns their own business puts in the same amount of hours, except the weekends, you had to do it because you are starting up I had to do it because I had to deliver on a commitment, when you work for yourself you have to be prepared for it, nothing beats hard work and determination, you are doing it right!

I can't say anything about GBGallardo personally (I don't know him). Sounds like he is a smart guy that saw an opportunity and went with it. Maybe not the most ethical, but people do a lot worse everyday to make a buck. Not condoning or saying it's justified but at this point.....It is what it is. I hope he takes all of this and moves in a positive direction.

 

I read this site because it's always been inspirational to me, the achieving your goals part. I don't know what most on here do for a living...it's none of my business. I doesn't matter if you started a business, distribute porn wholesale, have "family money", import cocaine from South America or whatever....

 

I've read so many instances of you all stating, this is what I wanna do and then you go do it!!!

 

So many people say they wanna do this or that, but there isn't any drive to achieve it. I just ask for everyone to keep posting their success because I am sure I'm not the only person on here who is motivated or inspired by it.
