staccato Report post Posted August 20, 2014 I currently own a Ferrari 360 spider and was looking into buying a Gallardo with a 6 Spd Manual clutch. I do most of my own work and was wondering do you have to remove the engine to do the clutch? I used to own a diablo and don't want to do the whole engine out thing anymore. Thanks
djantlive Report post Posted August 20, 2014 no it isn't engine out for gallardo. unlike f360, there is no timing belt either. all v12 models are still engine out including murcielago and aventador. trans is in front of engine for v12. bad design. Chipster Report post Posted August 21, 2014 I did not know that. Are you saying it is 'possible' to do the job without removing the engine or is it really standard practice?
TRANSAMERA Report post Posted August 21, 2014 I did not know that. Are you saying it is 'possible' to do the job without removing the engine or is it really standard practice? I've heard you can, but I'm not sure.

STEEVE1234 Report post Posted August 25, 2014 +1 The engine doesn't have to come out in a Gallardo, only the bumper and the transmission. It's a lot less labor than a Murcielago.
