  1. 4XCHAMP & D.WIGGS Thanks for posting up the videos. They both sound nice. 4XCHAMP Looking and running Clean after the service!! Feel free to contact for any further questions.
  2. NICE AND CLEAN! HUGE PROPS!!!
  3. ANSWER 1. The USB port works similar to the SD drive except it works as all songs list with no folders. 2. Don't know the size limit. 3. I have tested the small hard drives of 1g and 4g and worked. 4. I-pod will not work at all. There is a separate connection for the I-pod which will be fitted in the glove box and eliminate the USB drive in the trunk or the CD changer in the trunk. Hopes this helps

  5. Both sensors don't fail it is the Catalyst ECU that fails and sends a signal that both Cats are overheating to the engine ECU's. This is a common problem when the Catalyst ECU gets wet or has humidity it happens on the Diablos, Murcielagos, and Gallardos. This is based on what you said that even when the car is cold same problem persist. Questions: Does your exhaust flow freely? Reverify if the Cat overheat light is on when the car is completely cold? if it is on when the car is completely cold. The Cat ECU is to blame. To yield codes you would have to use the OBDII port but it is very limited information. Other than that you need the Lamborghini Computer for further Diagnosis. Hope this answers some of your concerns. Euro_C
  6. Verify if the noise is coming from the door strut rod mount at the base of the body. I have seen this too often. What you need to do is get another person to hold the door cause it is super heavy and can act as a guillotine. Disconnect the door strut clean the ball mount and strut socket. Apply grease and reinstall. Operate the door several times and the noise should be eliminated. Good Luck.
  7. Check your exhaust for two probes on the catalyst and follow the steel braided electrical wires to the sensor located in the passenger rear. If it looks like this picture, send me a P.M. I have several new ones that work on some late Diablos, early Murcielagos, and early Gallardos.
  8. New vehicles come with a different drain plugs and need a "Triple Square" 12 tool. Best is get a Triple Square tool set, it can be found through any tool seller. Other than that it is just like 4xchamp said. Two drain plugs for the oil pan and another one for the oil tank.
  9. This sounds like there might be aeration in the clutch hydraulic system. It is either being introduced by a low brake fluid reservoir (clutch and brake share the same reservoir), a leaking release bearing or a failing clutch master cylinder. Question: Have you ever had this system flushed with new Super D.O.T. 4 brake fluid? 1. Have the brake reservoir fluid level inspected. 2a.1 Not Low- Try bleeding and flushing the system .2 Bleeding did not improve the pedal - Suspect an internal failure on the clutch master cylinder. 2b.1 Low - Inspect underneath the vehicle for possible leak coming from the bell housing area in the transmission. .2 Leaking - Release bearing needs to be replaced. At this point have the release bearing and the clutch replaced. Hope this answers your question or leads you in the right path, Good Luck.
  10. LMAO Sorry for the harsh correction... I thought that you were referring to the previous post of how much for the LOF.....
  11. What you say is true and it should change for "resale" purposes. That is up to the manufacturers to do so and not the factory authorized dealer. Now, many of the High end factory dealers aren't allowed by the manufacturer to release the history unless it is the registered owner's name on the Repair Order (I believe it is also a Federal Law against this). What Jeff said is true and is only relaying the message said from the corporate side of the manufacturer. He works at a dealer and I used to work at a dealer in another part of the country; I was also informed this by the manufacturer the same. Try getting Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maserati, service history other than if you are the original owner and let me know if they release what was officially done to your used vehicle other than warranty repairs. Now many dealers will not release the information to other used car dealers for competition purposes cause they also have used car inventory in their lot. Best Advice I can give is have the vehicle inspected by a Lamborghini Technician that has more than 5yrs experience and knows what to look for whether it is for accident, maintenance, or future issues that he foresees due to his experience.
  12. LP 560-4 doesn't need the special tool. You guys should see how many loose and leaking oil filters I see on the Gallardos due to improper tightening. The oil sits on the valley pan so allot of people fail to see the oil leak.
  13. What year is your Gallardo? In my opinion: Sports, I recently drove the Sports struts on a Gallardo in Puerto Rico which has really bad roads after I was done repairing it. I had no problem with it, they are slightly stiffer but perfect for my liking. Best way is to have a ride with someone that has the sport struts for your own comparison purposes.
  14. Added Note : Not all Dealers Stamp the service manuals properly.
  15. What oil and did you change the filter, drain plug washers? List price oil filter = 71.59 U.S. dollars - Lamborghini Dealer Castrol oil 5w-40 x 10 @ 7.49 each = 74.90 U.S. dollars - Advanced Auto Parts Drain plug washers x 2 @ 2.45 each = 4.90 U.S. dollars - Lamborghini Dealer Lamborghini Oil Tool = 182.38 U.S. dollars - Lamborghini Dealer Total of doing it yourself = 333.77 U.S. dollars + local tax You didn't do your service right. You are either missing the Oil Filter or the Oil Tool. If you didn't use the Tool, your Oil filter is not Tightened Properly. In this case the saying is true "Garbage In Garbage Out"
  16. For Engine Oil Change - They average at $428.12 U.S. dollars. Some are lower depending on specials. Wait for Mike for the correction.
  17. LMAO..... Thanks for the correction Mike.
  18. Dealers charge around $454.68 U.S. dollars plus tax
  19. gez has not replied to see what has been the outcome of his situation. Not to be rude but don't believe everything your buddies tell you. There are numerous drains in the air box so the secondary air injection pump doesn't get submerged in water. This pump sends air into the exhaust for pollution purposes. If this air pump was submerged under water you would have allot more problems than just a pump noise. Now the pump priming is only when the pressure drops below a set amount. Under normal conditions it self primes when opening the driver's door at the morning's first initial entry or after a couple of hours of rest time.
  20. I have seen Gallardos rolled back. Only way to tell are by these physical signs : Brake Rotors- check to see if they started to create a wear lip on the edge. Dirt in hard to reach areas of engine panels. Transmission - Gear oil starts to break down after 5k to 7.5k depending on the harshness of use. E.C.U.'s Run time timers but they can be reset via by a factory re-flash programing. Best bet is to have the car looked by a truly experienced Lambo technician (Not just any Lambo tech - One that sees more than 70 different ones per year and has more than 5yrs experience Unlike many Lambo dealers around the country). Hire the tech that is when you can get an honest answer from his inspection.
  21. Will get back to you on that. Trying to get current pricing, they used to be around 26,000 US Dollars which included pads, rotors, and calipers. From what I have experienced, they don't get brake fade as the regular steel rotors. I worked and road tested CCB equipped factory owned Gallardos and the Superlegeras that where track used and abused at numerous dealer track events. I had to replace the brake pads and before replacing the pads I drove them hard out of curiosity to see how these worn and abused pads performed. Their stopping power were still amazing. In comparison to the steel brakes, their stopping power takes you out of your seat at an extreme force to your seat belt at a sudden brake from 60 - 0 mph.
  22. Personally if your car has a TT kit; I would recommend upgrading to the carbon ceramic kit that the Factory sells as an upgrade. Yes they are pricey but If you already spent thousands of dollars to make your car ridiculous fast spend a little bit more to make your car stop correctly. If you need any help send me a P.M.
