god, i'm looking at this all from a distant perspective, and i'm seeing 2007 and a point at which Lamborghini became a shadow of the beauty and passion that it once was for us all. with the revelation of this Reventon, i for one wish they had just gone through with the SUV project and killed off Lamborghini good and properly. i was really hoping they would announce that the Reventon actually only weighed 1000kg (2,200lbs) and was made of some new previously unheard of molecular structure discovered by the latent Mars rovers. THAT would be worth 1.5m, rather than the $20k bodykit they've stuck on the Murci.

compared to a Murci? i've seen people banging their heads getting in those, but i'm a pro at getting in and out of Lambos nowadays.

yeah, and it's not just the expense but the complete unavailability of them that blows... this is one car that i'm considering a high-quality replica (ie built from ground up NOT a kit!) would be worthwhile...

this is the car that ignited my love for exotics... as a lad i liked lambos and ferraris in general, but it wasn't until i discovered the Stratos that i really decided wedge-shape cars were what i would forever lust after. just lately, this car has been consuming my thoughts far too much.
