I love my road trips as well. France is beautiful and that must have been a lot of fun in the GT! Me and my little brother are taking our girlfriends and are going to do a pretty crazy road trip in July. Im looking to grab an F12 very soon and he just acquired an Audi RS6, which has really blown me away. Marbella to Madrid to Barcelona to Canne/Monte Carlo to Milan to Florence to Rome. Its going to be a lot of fun and its great as the drive between every city is 3-5 hours.

Ya Europe is amazing when you have some friends in some different cities. I had 3 properties in Vegas and 2 in LA, lived there for 5 years but Europe is different. I love it over here! Everything is so close to each other! You can never get bored! I heard about HK but have not had a chance to go yet. Frankfurt is amazing for finance. Awesome banks there. But you have many options in Europe. Good luck with the move! I just finished liquidating all my US and Canadian properties which is why I am on a roll with the new cars, lol. I absolutely love it over here though! Let me know if you need any help/info.

Ahhh you scared the crap out of me as I thought it wasn't available as an option on the SV. Hahaha damn... I hear you on the weight savings part though. I do love the exterior of the car and even the interior. Along with the added hp and the better handling its better than ordering the base Roadster for me. I can definitely see not having the infotainment hurting the resale value of the car!

Took my Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe and stopped by the Ferrari dealer to place my order on the 488 Spider. We will see it at the Frankfurt Autoshow. Ferrari is choosing this to be the one car they offer Tailor Made for so I will definitely be taking advantage of those choices/options by going directly to the factory in Italy. They said I will have the Spider in June/July of next year which is really early compared to the States I believe. I couldn't be anymore excited. I think the new turbo set up on these cars will be amazing!

I just realized this... What's up with the smaller screen? Why did they do that? Does it still perform the same functions of navigation and cd/iPod display?

Awesome! If your able to, nothing beats going to the factory and seeing all the options/choices in the flesh... I'm going to do the same for my roadster.

The fact that it's a full bucket and the part where your ass is, is also raised so you literally have to fit your waist in there, makes comfort impossible for me and I have a 38' waist. Even the GT2 buckets where only the top part comes out by your shoulders is very uncomfortable for me as I am wide and it is piercing my back around corners, lol. I love those seats but they are just way too uncomfortable as I do plan on driving the car a lot. Please let me know what you figure out!

Lambo told me I had to list whether I wanted the bigger engine or smaller one when I put my name down. When I asked details, they said they don't have any other concrete information besides knowing it will come with an option of either two.

I wouldn't go so far as to say not getting them would ruin the point of the car... I would love to get them, if I could fit in them! Being 6'1 and 230 lbs it is much more important that I can sit comfortably in my dream car as appose to get seats that will save me some weight.

Just make sure you don't opt for the carbon fibre bucket seats as you, or even I, won't be going far... Its what they all had when they were tested and a lot of people complained they were really tight and hard on the lower back. I sure hope they have something similar to the regular Aventador seats as just buckets would suck and ruin the car for daily use...

Trust me on this one... Wether it's the Huracan or we become SV brothers, lol, go to the aftermarket wrap choices and you will get exactly the purple you want. I've been wrapping my cars for the last few years and you would be blown away by just the different kinds of purple there are available. This way you can get a good resale value color (or not if you don't care) and than just have a good wrap shop in Vegas or LA give you exactly what you want because a crazy purple would be amazing to see! I was going to do my GTR a Matte Metallic Purple because I also wanted a crazy purple color. It kinda looked like the matte purple that the LP670 SV came in. If you want the chrome purple that was posted earlier than you can easily do that. I was told those crazy chrome wraps are 12-14k instead of the 3-4k for the regular wraps.
