  1. Wow. So its all true then... Yeah agree, lucky and a great eye opener...
  2. Looking forward to hearing about this one, since I believe mine are untouched since -91 Keep us posted
  3. Thinking of upgrading my totally stock -91 with some sort of aftermarket exhaust, possibly Quicksilver. I hdont know weather to go with just the muffler or all out with the testpipes as well. I know it will sound a heck of a lot better but also curious about actual rear wheel effect? Anyone tried to dyno a similar setup?
  4. Where did you order and how much did it cost?
  5. So we finally opened up to find out weather I had my tensioners done or not and.... BEHOLD!!!!! They had already been changed, contrary to what people remembered. I am still waiting for the complete service book and all the service records to find out when and where and by whom. But the important thing for now is knowing they´re there, so I can concentrate on other stuff. Thanks to you all for your input and advice Uffe
  6. I see, thanks for your advise and pic´s. Pulling these covers seems easy enough and I´ll get on it next week. Car is still in the shop for service... Has anyone actually had or heard of a mechanical breakdown due to these hydraulical ones?
  7. From what I understand by talking to this Mechanic dude, who personally has performed a lot of these procedures in Sweden, it is a very impotant upgrade to perform. Probably the most important. Most cars have this done, if not before then at the 24000km service when valve clearances are checked and set. Obviously this has not been performed on my car and he strongly recomended it. My Diablo has 37000km´s on it and he also said that by visually inspecting it he could determine weather it was necesary to do right away or if it could wait for the next major. It all comes down to how the car has been driven and the way I will drive it he says. Anyone out there with experiences, bad or good about this one???
  8. Just bought my first Lamborghini and found a 91 Diablo that looks and feels great. Now a guy tells me that the camshaft chain tensioners are hydraulic and that this would be the achilles heel for this model and should be exchanged for mechanical tensioners ASAP. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone had any experiences with this?? Thankful for your input either way ) Uffe
  9. I do not know where you live but I know that The Swedish De Tomaso Club usually has Yokohama 295`s for sale and Kjell would ship worldwide Good Luck Uffe
  10. Just thought that I would drop a line to say hello and greetings to you all. In the market to trade in my f355 spider for a manlier car and have found a very nice red -91 with extremely low miles on it. We will see what happens and since the glorious winter season just struck Sweden hard, like 10 inches of snow outside the door, I think I can relax and read up on the subject of Lambo owning. Like what I have seen here so far and I am really happy to find something new to read instead of my Brooklands book for the third time. Well nice to see everyone here and be sure to let me know if you will visit in the Stockholm area!!! Ahh, and about the user name... I just sold my beautiful De Tomaso Pantera 1980 to Austria and I just cant get around to change an alias that I have had for so many years, sigh All the best Uffe
