  1. I personally would do a 1R. You will have the ability to run at a lower lever when you wish. But getting the billet intake and other misc goodies, will be worth the small price increase. And having the ability to go up in power, and not needing it... Well... Priceless. Mike
  2. Void your warranty for 28 hp. Smh and Hefner labels the car. When it gets gapped on video , it will be the next debate
  3. Please .... He's driving 4 hours to try a McDonalds that serves Pizza. Don't let him fool you.
  4. That's the #250 hair style

    250mph

83 is hot. And on an asphalt track... Not sure its safe to truly turn the power up like that. Maybe in the morning the ability to make a pass like that will be possible. I have a feeling that 250 MPH capable cars will be in attendance. However, safety is #1, and bragging rights are #2. With that said... I'd love to see it happen Mike
  6. Man... All I can say is congrats. On a personal note, I am not a Dad. And honestly never thought that I wanted to be. However, now that I am about to turn 38. I have made huge accomplishments in my personal life. Pretty much have done everything that I set my mind to... I have thought about having a child more and more. I am super excited for you, and am very thankful for this post. Mike
  7. You are going to have to get a LARA or something of the sort to look at live data. At this point you need to know what is/is not being commanded. Mike
  8. When I watched it live on youtube I thought for sure it was a red light. Didn't know of any other reason that one would just stab the brakes after the start.... But looking at that video, the DP car almost looks like it has a slight jump on KC. But once the Huracan came off anti-lag you can tell it was going to be a slaughter fest... Congrats to UGR on another TI. You guys are going to have to get a bigger display case! Mike
  9. Well, my 560 is an event car, so it was not mine. The 610 is white, but not pearl. Mike
  10. I enjoyed my 580 a lot. Was a good car to drive and was decent value as I got a pretty basic car. Msrp was around 219. Some of the downfalls were "for us" doing the half mile scene, my wife did not like the tire spin off the line. On street drives, some of the highways have some pretty good sweeping turns. I found the traction control coming in when I felt it was uncalled for. Making me think I was much closer to getting loose than I realized. It had steel brakes which I actually feel have better stopping than the CCB. i did not like the active fuel management. But that's a 2016 and newer thing. I wouldn't tell anyone not to get one. But, that said. I think our 610-4 is a better vehicle for what we use it for. Mike
  11. I personally think its great that this happened. It gives us all something to shoot for. We all know that the V10 platform will outperform the GTR in the half. Just have turn a few more screws and add some of that lucas fuel treatment stuff... Fowler will be out there hitting 250 in no time
  12. Let out... Shit... Looked like as soon as he realized that DP was about to ride the rape wagon... He hit the brakes. Mike
  13. For what this is worth, if the sport seats ARE the same as a 570SL, I too love them. I am 5'11" and 215lbs. Athletic build and big chest and back. I fit snug and love the look of them. That said, on a road trip longer than an hour, my body will start to remind me that they are not exactly how I would have angled the seat back. Good luck, and no matter what you do, enjoy it. Mike
  14. This is one of the sexiest cars I have seen. And because I know what it can do.... That just makes it better. Mike
  15. Great review. Having driven the 650 myself and being passenger in the 675. I agree. The doors are cool, its impossible to get in and out of, and I was just not blown away by the car. I have a 991.2 Turbo. Few bolt on parts, and its a great car. However, I find myself almost daily looking to trade it for another Lamborghini. The Turbo, and the 650/675 just drive themselves. It is point, and click. Next thing you know, you are there. I of course do not have the Merci... but my Gallardo is gated. I love that feeling, and the clank sound I hear on shifts. The GT3RS is on my bucket list. But only because A) I love the wing, and B ) I have enjoyed many of my less powerful P cars more than my turbo. As they are not so potent, and one must drive them just a little bit more. Just my $0.02 Mike
  16. The car can be enjoyed on the street though. That's the beauty of it. And ( and I'm not trying to be a jerk ) ... but if I can drive my car on the street I can surely drive my car on the track at low power. Doesn't make me a one trick magic show. I can turn too. And still climb into the boost on a strait. I can drive at 65 mph down the highway. I just have a hell of a lot more power in reserve. Again, it's all in what you enjoy. Some love it stock, and that's awesome. Some don't , and that's awesome too. It's not like we are adding underbody lights and spinners that have no gain on any type of driving experience. We just choose to improve on the power of our cars. If someone was not a car savvy person , I could let them drive my car and they would know nothing of it being modified. Mike
  17. This is a great way to explain it. I have been satisfied 4 times now. And 4 times, I needed more power. I guess it's all in how you are programmed. I remember thinking 1000 WHP was SO FAST... I also now feel like 1500 WHP has the brakes stuck on... As far as getting on a road course. I have done some road course days with an instructor that is a very talented driver and a great friend. I could see taking the big power cars and having a blast in the strait, but the corners are where you need skill, not just brute force. The high horse power cars are only going to do so well in the turns. You can only use what the car will allow you to put down in the turns. But I can totally see blasting down a strait in full boost giggling like a school girl. Mike
  18. This statement is hard to imagine until you have driven a TT. Now, I don't have an adventador , but after I drive my TTG and get into any of the other "fast" cars I own, I always feel like I could get out and run faster. It's truly mind bending. And once you've done it... well, let's just say don't do it unless you're ready to commit. It only takes one hit, and you're hooked. Mike
  19. We all have opinions on that. I got hate for TT'ing an anniversario. 1 of 24 .... but at the end of the day. It's my money and I'm happy I'd TT a SV and not think twice
  20. I "think" there is a yellow SV that either is TT or is going to be TT. Lives in NC too Mike
  21. Damn... Gonna be the street race capital of the world. Where is Dustin... He needs a car asap.
  22. Hey buddy... Hope all is well down under. Mike
