  1. its now on ebay for 205k with 3 photos and zero description
  2. he had it up on ebay earlier in the year 215k is a good deal for a countach but this one needs a lot of work it seems. at one point he did post pictures of the engine out of the car but it looks like hes a home mechanic with a pretty limited budget so do your due diligence.
  3. maybe it is the right car for you. the squeaks will all drown each other out
  4. he just edited the ad with a 95k buy it now. that seems like a good deal to be perfectly honest. 100-150k into restoration and youd still be under the curve, albeit with a branded title.
  5. i could tell be the use of the razr flip phone photos.
  6. an 87 fuelie that has been converted to look like a 25th? wonder why they decided to diamond plate the floor.. definitely a mess of a car
  7. sportscarcompany looks to be located in california. wish i knew if the 6k was miles or km. if miles then this car hasnt moved under its own power for 5 years.
  8. true but did you see the red anniversary being sold by gullwing motors earlier this year? 190k$ and sold within a week of its listing. there was more rust than clean metal on a car that hadnt moved in decades. i wish i kept the photos that they sent me.

  10. we say that now in todays market but a lot of us said that 10 years ago when these cars were 60-70k. there might be a time in the not too distant future where a basket case is half a million and we kicked ourselves for not jumping on this incredible bargain.
  11. owner still has this car. wont let it go for less than 225 good luck negotiating or even getting any information out of him about it.
  12. i didnt want to start a new thread for this but does anybody know why i can only see the newest thread in this section? vintage lamborghinis i can page back for years and countach, this is the only thread that it shows me.

  14. yeah those sites are scams. you register and none of the cars that they show are actually available. they typically just hot link you to an ebay search after charging you 30-50$ for registration with a money back guarantee that you cant actually claim when you want your money back.
  15. That's awesome that someone has the time, talent and resources to save these cars. I couldn't imagine taking on a project like this.
  16. just a fun question. it would cost the equivalent of an already restored car to get these things back together but what do you think they are being listed for? i know the one is a DD but still... http://www.iagclassics.com/carpages/1985-L...t-For-Sale.html http://www.iagclassics.com/carpages/1983-L...t-For-Sale.html
  17. so they bolted a bunch of random shit to it, abandoned it and had it impounded and are now trying to capitalize on the inflated market. this is definitely the car for me.....
  18. you guys think this would be a decent first countach? figuring 30k or so to return it closer to factory and just enjoying it as a driver.
  19. youre not alone. pretty much every car show on velocity, discovery etc.. are terrible made for tv get rich quick garbage. they show their ineptness and attempt to show how wild and care free they are and its horrible.
  20. they also offer 12 year financing. i never thought about financing such a chunk of change but man.. 2k a month doesnt sound too bad to own a countach. terrible wheel choice though
  21. he said that the drivers side wheel flairs were all that was damaged and replaced over 20 years ago. for whatever reason at that time, they totalled it out and the current owner has had it for roughly 2 decades and purchased it at the time of repair
  22. called the number on the ad, talked to brian said that a doctor in new york is hot and heavy for it. he wont accept a deposit on it and says that the only way to know that its been damaged or salvaged is because he told us about it; there is no reason to do a ppi but feel free to fly in and take a look. stated that its one of the nicest quatrovalves in the state. asking price is 240k with no negotiation
