  1. Wow, vegasgtr has bad info?
  2. He sure was quiet when ETS killed them at same track, same day at tx2k15. Bottom line ASS won the event and everyone knows the rules. Most Lambo owners rather not butch up the cars as they still look like an exotic, ie the wheels, aero, small rwd brakes. It is extremely hard to compete against dedicated race cars but it is up to the racers to either made the necessary adjustments or be happy with it. the goal is winning and qualifying mph don't mean nothing neither is running the fastest mph in the event. In racing, you got to win when it counts and ASS did that in this event.
  3. +1 http://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic/83055-######-motorsports/ There are a lot more problems than documented on this vendor review found later.
  4. I agree, the goal couldn't be just like beat gtr record. ASS had the fastest run for a while but when the 233 mph shows, it was game over. they knew at 224 or 225 mph they don't have the power left on tap to challenge 233.88 mph and nothing wrong with that. I am sure beating UGR in two straight events would get a lot of press for ASS than beating gtr record.
  5. 221 mph is ridiculous for a 2R 6 speed manual, congrats.
  6. Half mile is not a topspeed event. I would guess ASS rev to 9k rpm that put it at 249 mph. Even at 8500 rpm, it is 235 mph. Based on that, it is perfect gearing for gtr at that power level. I think the 6 speed manual did 221 mph in 5th gear. That is ridiculous tall gears. We have seen ASS video of it revving way past 8k, so your post about revving crap to get to 230 is bs unless the rolling diameter of tires is way less than stock.
  7. Better check with your ASS source as there are a20 in Florida.
  8. Congrats on the car and UGR delivered again. Sounds like the green one will be even faster!
  9. Can't believe how fast the 2R pulls away from 1350 whp GTR.
