  1. Blown away - 800+ hp under 6:50 ring time half the SV production 10% price increase. Centenario add ALA
  2. Agree - SV is plenty of car all around if it's 1000+ units I won't go thru the brain damage of SV to JOTA
  3. Selling cars over 7 years at 400k is one thing not sure how many they made - regardless at 6 7 800k track focus car better know your customer. Look at all the people here who ordered SV's and sold in a panic. Carrera GT over produced - they were sitting on dealer showrooms everywhere and many more examples. There isn't a dealer alive who wants take delivery of 2 let alone 10 cars at this level months and months away. Lambo has to order parts inventory - they get this wrong and it's a lot of pain being cautious won't hurt them vs ...
  4. Depends on capacity as Urus orders are off the charts as are others their sales are up 10%. The .2RS from Porsche is half or less of original RS production - there is only so much capacity and then the change over for hybrid line expect like issues with Lambo and it's much smaller assuming plant closing for summer limited production capacity and work force. Also if they make too many JOTA's - who's going to buy the hybrid regardless of performance it's not about collectibility it's about branding.
  5. JOTA is going to set the tone for Lamborghini - basically a .2 SV using the JOTA name should reflect it's heritage Thank Winkelmann for focussing on performance.
  6. True. Some reps share dealers share and appreciate your post - as I shared what was told too me. I'm sure we will learn more about the JOTA before allocations are loaded into the system. Simply don't see Lambo not taking full advantage of a larger than 185 run seems too low for a company that is for profit.
  7. Both are wrong - there are no allocations / prices in the system. Given the timeline for Aventador expire - my guess est 500 coupes 500 roadsters before the new model. URUS is selling double expected which limits the Huracan line not the Aventador production - I think someone just wanted a deposit
  8. Rumor 5 coupes allocated and 100 worldwide - hoping they send out some credible information. Dealing with the same thing GT3RS.2 - dealers should not get to order a spec when customers have deposits if the dealer did not take any deposits different story which allows those dealers to charge ADM and the mess begins.
  9. Congrats was 1hr behind delivering my deposit check - got the #2 spot. Any idea msrp coupes vs roadsters of the 185 - there are over 150 dealers not looking good shocked only 20 - 30 dealers will get 2. Good news for the SV - should do well given the limited JOTA.
  10. In the place connected to a restaurant - we went to the late afternoon on Saturday. Hoping the same crew from Lamborghini is there - our regional doesn't share the good stuff. Prefer not to go to the factory to spec. After what happened with the Veneno and the coupe owners being upset with the roadster coming later wonder how many roadster vs coupes. For the first time considering a coupe
  11. 918 3700 lb.s let's see where the JOTA track focus comes in. Racing suspension isn't for everyone - square pegs round hole can not imagine a better end to the Aventador as if the Aventador in of itself makes sense. Quail bound - SV-N-IT where you at the Miami Performante viewing.
  12. JOTA is a big deal There is a lighter DCT transmission hope they make it work. Leave nav beveled glass pork exhaust and everything else off - stiffen springs add downforce bespoke tires like McLaren Senna with CF wheels - beat the 2RS 6:47. Track focussed harsh track ride - like the GT3RS.2 We are seeing track focus cars at the end of model runs that are more reflective of a race set up than street.
  13. Huracan was designed for V10 - looking at the engine bay would guess it would not fit plus these factories don't engine swap even for customers spending 2-3M. Eric Clapton asked Ferrari to put a V12 in his 458 design they said yes originally then no it's not worth building a test prototype. Performante fuel is direct and multi port injection improves mpg add the transmission. Reggiani stated - Performante's Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva gives the greatest improvement in lap time spoilers snapping into their lowest-drag setting when the Performante is aimed forward results in the removal of acceleration impediment that big aero. The Viper NA manual ran a 7 min ring time beat the 918 at 14 tracks across the USA - SV JOTA will most likely be the last NA ring time to hold the title perhaps forever.
  14. Agree and safe to assume there will be more track Huracan models - 30hp 50 lb.s seems to be enough to get us to bite. JOTA is a whole new level from the Miura and believe 6 maybe a few other SV's were modified to the JOTA level. These were the fastest production cars at the time. That being said I hope Lamborghini brought the name out to carry on tradition.
  15. Don't see the Performante having another 100 hp or 100 lb.s to lose it lost 80 from the Huracan vs SV only lost 50 from the AV. Magnesium wheels would save 25 lb.s more could be eliminated 800+ hp is achievable the next F812 will be around 815+. JOTA as 2RS Weissach package it can get close - bragging rights is what sells cars at this level if it's not capable it better be extremely limited. Lambo had a choice which has already been made we just don't know it - given the JOTA name if Lambo values the name as deserved this one could surprise us all when JOTA was released prior it was the fastest road car.
  16. SV Performante GT2RS fingers crossed JOTA - each able to hold the Ring for months. Lamborghini Performante exceeded agree would be great seeing the last NA run topping every current hybrid. Will Lambo install thinner glass provide magnesium wheels cf parts and everything else required. Price Production - two things had to weigh in to be worth the R&D. Lambo Porsche already know - going to be a long time before we know but anything below 800hp will most likely cancel the JOTA and stay with the SV.
  17. SV never received the better track tire like the Performante which takes them down to mid 6:50's alone. RWS faster shifts hp ALA shape offers down force and top speed try sticking out your iphone at 200 mph - possible active aero stiffer dampers cf sway bars and suspension benefits from steel ball joints all around replacing rubber bushings magnesium wheels and advanced torque vectoring system if Lamborghini is to improve those are the same things installed for the GT2RS 6:47 ring which should be Lambo's focus. Lambo cars nice renderings!!
  18. This place never changes LOOM is not open at least in the US people have deposits but it's just to hold their place in line. No one knows much other than it's a Performante like upgrade to the SV and most likely called JOTA late 2018 thru mid 2019.
  19. Searching for a watch around 50k - any ideas prefer something similar in size and leather or rubber band option. Been wearing the same watch for 10 years - it's time for a change plus the winder isn't tightening.
  20. That is awesome! My first was also a Formula best friend had the Bandit we had a blast driving against one another. I had t - tops cut in one night a friend removed while on the highway needless to say it splattered. We recently exchanged e-mails debating to buy and take a few weeks off. Schedules didn't allow for it so we canned it good to see this thread. Enjoy!
  21. Had a G55 - tons of fun but nothing like the Bentayga. Funny the coolest things about the Bentayga aren't mentioned here - the counter balance suspension and many other items makes it a world class car. The Speed will be much nicer and faster they introduced a first run with some treatments and people scooped up all the allocations. I doubt many people buy these vs lease IMO it fits perfectly in a small segment that has almost zero competition. Anyone looking at this is not looking at a Range Rover Porsche etc - it's a Bentley a company that is soon to become one of the top builders in the world of luxury. Their new showroom design is stunning next up a two door sports car. They are branding to a market that will be very successful - like it or hate it there is nothing out there like it and that alone has plenty of appeal.
  22. Treynor Did you get Lamborghini to paint the SV - Giallo Tristrato Congrats!
  23. Thanks! Agree covered the interior door panels sills and ceramic coated. Love that color combination and wet cf. FWIW - got in touch with an ex Lamborghini CF Tech who now works at Pagani as their CF expert he produces CF work on the side. Going to have him make the upper air vents in dry carbon and a few interior blue carbon parts. Price 1800.00 for the cf dry upper air vents 1/3 of what Lamborghini charges if anyone else is interested let me know I found out about him while ordering a 1 of 1 Viper ACR Extreme.
  24. Factory - the race exhaust price includes a specific SV update that keeps the car in warranty. You are required to sign a waiver - the exhaust is not street legal. My guess right around 800 plus more torque at lower rpm's. Need to add - detailers hard work pays off.
