  1. It looks like my post got deleted but I own one of the Monterrey Blue 6.0 cars. Mine is a one owner and I think the other one has been either wrecked badly or totaled. I tried to post a pic but my file was too big.
  2. Agree. The ECM is probably taking its measurement at the O2.
  3. There is no such thing is a low octane cel. Weak fuel mixture means the air/fuel mixture is off or out of adjustment. Never seen this on a fuel injected motor.
  4. If it is on a Texas Title then you can take it to rural towns that only do a safety inspection and it will be good to go. Houston would check cats, rural towns would not. I ran this car by such a guy that does inspections and he said its a go if it has a standard Texas Title. I would like to see that title though. I know those guys at Lambo Houston. I will get them to email me a copy of the title to see if there are any exclusions.
  5. Lamborghini Houston appears to be treating this as a car that can and will be registered.
  6. I have a feeling once the car hits 25 years old you can register it as a kit car in the USA with no problems.
  7. Ive always wanted a section for owners only and you must provide your vin to get in.
  8. Hey Chipster, I have a mint Vrod I am thinking about selling. Orangefire, 4k miles I think. Aftermarket pipes
  9. SP offers the carbon bezels currently for the 6.0
  10. The area is so tight that pics are of no benefit, however here are the steps: 1. Remove rear panel covering your exhaust and holds your wing if you have one with the 2- 10mm bolts. 2. Unplug the taillight harness. The plugs are easy to get to, right behind the rear grill. 3. Remove the two Phillip head screws at the top of the fan grill. 4. Gently pull the grill up. It has two pins that pull out of rubber grommets. 5. Loosen 4 8mm bolts that hold the fan in place. Do not take them out but loosen them almost all the way out. 6. Twist the fan counter clockwise and it will come out. Bolts will stay in place as the fan has slots to allow this. 7. Law the fan inside the bumper on towels. 8. Now you can see and loosen the four nuts that hold the taillight housing in. 4 nuts and four washers. 9. Pull the entire housing out. You will notice the rear portion of the cover fall back. Fairly crude looking piece, handmade of course. 10. Take one lense off. Pull the piece that holds the bulb forward so to get at the back of it. There are 3 or 4 clip plugs from the harness. 12. Take a sharpie and write the first letter of the color wire that goes to each clip on the housing. Its a white bulb housing so its easy to see. 13. Pull the plugs off. Now you will be able to pull the cups out and replace the surround as it is sandwiched between the cups. 14. Not necessary to take the other lense cap off. 15. Install reverse order. The only thing a little tricky is the fan removal and install. 16. One side took about two hours and the other side 30 minutes.
  11. Not sure but I think they are still available. Btw, Panel nuts can only be accessed through the rear fan screen areas after they are removed. The fans must come off as well because one nut is impossible to get to with them in place. After that, pretty easy.
  12. Will first try going in through the rear grill. Much easier access.
  13. Actually it appears that the rear grills for the fans need to come off to access the nuts that hold the cups on which sandwich the cover. I will do it and take pictures.
  14. I'm changing mine to a carbon fiber unit from SP. Once the lenses and the bulb holder come out there is just a connector and what appears to be two plugs in the cups. Does anyone have experience taking the black cups out and the procedure?
  15. Days of 250k or below are over for 6.0. May as well accept it.
  16. I believe all four sensors are the same, correct?
  17. Anyone have the cross reference for the exhaust donut gaskets for the 6.0? All diablos may be the same.
  18. I have a perfect front and rear bumper in yellow pearl if you need it when you find a car.
  19. Found some new roadster wheels for 4000 which is a great price but still looking for 6.0 wheels.
  20. So true about having to warm it up or cell's.
