  1. I don't want to run the risk of front diff damage but I also don't want to replace almost brand new tires... does the same tire size issue impact he LP front diffs as it does with Pre LP's?
  2. Hello, please may you change me to owner status? Thanks!
  3. I will purchase some Corsa's then, they were on the car when I bought it and look pretty much like new to be honest, looks like i'll have them for sale for anyone who's done the 2WD conversion soon! I presume the best place to buy from is tire rack?
  4. Bringing this one back... I've read a number of tire related threads now and i'm still getting my head around things, I understand that not having the same diameter as the OEM tires means the front diff will die... So... I am currently running Michelin Pilot Sports front 245/35 ZR 18 and rear 335/30 ZR 18 Are these ok or am I going to destroy my car? currently running AWD and TT setup.. Thanks in advance!
  5. Latest on this - looks like it is in face a synchros issue... I will most likely be installing a new hi tech exotic clutch whilst the engine is out anyway for peace of mind as well as looking into the transmission, synchros etc. Just getting prices on labor around me from a number of recommended places, once I have final word and the car is in the shop i'll let you know the outcome! Thanks, Tom
  6. LOL that monkey amused me, needs a good clean then i'll take and share some more!
  7. Great pics so far! A few of mine below:
  8. No, Kevin said the clutch in my car isn't being sold anymore and he knows there are a few other companies out there but he doesn't have experience with them...
  9. Thanks for the info rushdriven - I actually saw your post in another thread and have that saved with these steps! Appreciate the update - upon further diagnosing it's apparent the issue is the clutch itself and possibly this has damaged the transmission, either way it's an engine out job... I have a few places on the east coast giving me quotes and i've been referred to Pegaclutch for a kevlar replacement, does anyone recommend them or any other companies out there that have clutches which can handle 1,100 bhp? Thanks, Tom
  10. nope they were there before, I thought that a change of fluid would potentially solve the problem
  11. I actually had all 3 done 2 months ago.... and there's been no notable difference. I didn't specifically check for any shavings to be honest
  12. So i've had numerous people tell me my issue (changing gears quickly at greater than 6000rpm with the clutch fully depressed the gears grind, if i change slowly and below 6000 there's no grind) that it's either the synchros or the clutch.... any ideas?
  13. What was the issue and resolution to this? I am having the exact same issue and my shifter broke int eh process... from a number of people i've spoken with the issue seems to be with the synchros but i'd appreciate anything you can tell me about your issue and fix. Thanks, Tom
  14. Hi All, I have found out the diameter, 2.75 inches, unsure of the actual length but i'm buying 6 foot of hose so this can be cut down to size, I picked this up for $20 delivered rather than paying $215 per hose.... Tom
  15. Thanks! I've had no major problems so far, along with a number of things which can be found on the UGR site - http://www.undergroundracing.com/vehicles/...murcielago.html My clutch has been since upgrade again but unfortunately there's no paperwork to see what too... si I have no idea right now.... I have had to replace the alternator as it was completely fried will all the extra power needed
  16. That would be great Stimpy - no i'm not tracking the car but they are shot to sh*t and do nothing at all right now to help cool the brakes. I may well remove them especially over the winter months when I won't be using the car much. Thanks for the advice!
  17. Hi Guys, The part number is 410611359 and I can't for the life of me find the diameter and length, if anyone can help that would be amazing! As I mentioned I don't have the ability to lift the car and remove for a few weeks but I want to order the ducts now so i'm ready. https://www.bullstuff.com/flex-hose-pn-410611359#product-q-a Thanks, Tom
  18. Thanks - I didn't encounter too many problems, the biggest thing was the complete lack of history with the can which Driving Emotions weren't able to help with from the previous owner, Kevin at UGR was very helpful piecing together some of the history since the TT upgrade was installed as well as calling Lamborghini Dallas where it had a service many moons ago. I anticipated there would be a few things needed doing to the car and i'm working through them. UGR indeed!
  19. Yes I did indeed after 3 months of discussing and negotiating I got the courage to pull the trigger, no regrets so far!
  20. Hi Everyone, I'm new to Lamborghini ownership and thought i'd say hi and introduce myself, i've met a few people like Stimpy who have welcomed me tot he family! Since moving to the US 4 years ago I've not needed a car due to living in NYC, however 6 months ago the withdraws got so bad I had to resolve this so I started searching for my dream Lamborghini. I used to flip cars back in the UK but mainly older 4x4's to export to central / eastern Europe but always had a cheap and relatively quick toy to play with (tuned golf / Alfa Romeo GTV V6, 996 4S) but nothing too fancy. I've always loved the Murcielago and when I found a 2003 Manual in my favorite colour blue I had to buy her (I've added a couple of pics to this post). An added bonus is the 1,100 bhp from the Racing Underground twin turbo set up! I look forward to burdening you all with my troubles and helping in any way I can! Thanks, Tom
  21. Hi Everyone, A quick question here, does anyone know the diameter and length of the brake hoses off the top of their head? I do not have easy access to the underside of my murci as I have to take it to my friends auto shop to compete any work on her and would like to buy hoses before I go there next in 2 weeks time. Thanks, Tom
  22. Jealous!! Room for a Murci TT to join in the fun?
