  1. Nope, person in the SE beat him to it..
  2. I had a simular incident a few years back. It was on my 2001 Diablo 6.0SE #19. Stock OEM wheels and tires as well. I was traveling straight at approx 110-130MPH for a sustained period of time in normal black top road conditions with mild weather. BOTH my front tires RAPIDLY deflated and broke down, however I was lucky enough to have gotten the car down to a safe mangiable speed when I first noted the car responding in-correctly. I had the car towed home to a local garage I trust. Prior to doing anything we checked evry evry possible thing that could have caused this. After many hours of testing and checking, the shop I used determined that the interior needle on the "valve stem" had backed out and this caused the loss of air.. We were actualy able to duplicte this failure a few days later via a DYno machine, having the car running for about 8 minutes at high speed, but only oone of the tires/rim failed. At the time the tires/wheels were outfitted with the "rubber" valve stem units. As there was no real proof, just or tests, we concluded that the flexabilty of the rubber stems at high speed centrifucal force and vibration forced the interior metal needle to vibrate out and cause the slow to rapid air loss. Since then I have made sure all my cars ONLY are equiped with the metal valve stems for rigid durability...and the incident has never repeated itself on any of my cars in simular driving conditions since.
  3. Was my pleasure to locate and secure the car for one of my best and truly "NEUROTIC" customers..I think I lost more sleep over this then he did.. Did you get it yet..Did you get it yet, Didyou get it yet...thats all that I keep hearing in my mind LOL LOL Enjoy a great car Andrew...see you in Monterey
  4. Builkd date was June 2008, in service date July 2008...full unlimited mile warranty till July 2011. Just had the 1500 mile service completed at an Authorized Lamborghini Service Center..excellent condition ready to go.
  5. Correct, these are of the "last" to bring full production to 351 units. 42 units ONLY with a USA VIN produced, hwoever only 37 of those USA cars remain on USA soil
  6. I just dont understand why the head of the company would say the Gallardo is "not a daily driver" "but you can use it that way"//??
  7. OK and just took these of SE30 #8 (purple) and SE30 #15 (Red)..1 of only 3 Red USA SE30 cars and still has less than 2000 miles on it.. The 2001 Diablo 6.0 is Balloon White..pics do not do it justice.
  8. Been a while since I have had all my baby's at home at the same time...
  9. I have a brand new set of OEM 2010 LP670-4SV wheels available if intrested... Send me a PM or e-mail roy@xxx Roy Seattle
  10. Correction...it will be a 2011 LP550-2, not a 560-2. Available for order as April 15, 2010. Yes it is cheaper, (base price) than the Balboni, has no stripe, slightly different suspension to the rear to eliminate the wheel hoop that the Balboni experiances under acceleration. You will be able to build the car with any options you wish that are avialable on the 560-4 options list. The base car DOES not come with a clear engine bonnett. The car will also not be a "limited" edition as was the 2010 Balboni...which was not built out to 250 units..I am sure this will NOT make some owners of the 550-2 Balboni happy..and probably will leave the remaining ones that are for sale with Dealrs sit a long tme or drop in price.\ I am just waiting for the first buyer of the 2011 LP550-2 to "add" his own stripe to the car for about $7K less then it cost on the 2010 LP550-2 and have the same car...just a year newer, less cost and a better rear suspension. As much as I love Lamborghini...some of the the things they do to trash an earlier year car make no sense business wise to me..??????????????
  11. No matter how you look at it ..it was a bad situation. Bad for him, his family to have to deal with it and the countless people that lost money due to the fall out from this incident. I live in a house with Glass, so for me to throw a stone, as they say...but I know I would not want to walk a mile in his shoes. As for being shocked at the time he recieved.."should have been less". I could not dis-agree more. The fact that for years our Justice System has given "slaps" on the hand for this type of behavior may just be the reason there was no fear in attempting this incident. If you think it would only be probabtion or a "year or two" at most...maybe your thoughts would have swung you away from taking a chance at 12 million.....but I would like to think had he know it would be 12 years of his life and his future with his family GONE...a different solution to his problems may have been achieved. NOW, there may be people in the future that see this punishment for what it is...and think twice prior to committing this type of CRIME that effects people and their lives all the way down the line...not just their greedy position in life.
  12. No, ...those were taken off your old 6.0 car and sold.
  13. The SE stands for Special Edition, not so much for the paint, (which yes was special..20 Brown, 20 Gold and 3 RHD cars to England) But more for its additions over the standard 6.0 Electric seats different leather surface and design different Carbon Fiber weave with titanium inside and out titanium shift knob differnt gearing lighter engine parts, magnisum different suspension bushings and slightly lower than reg 6.0 Ligher weight car Not like the cars of late that SE stands for mostly cosmetic changes.. Oh and yes, IMO the color is outstanding in person...pictures dont give you the deep rich look of it..
  14. Boy I would like to see a pic of that....was it a 96,97,98 or 99 SV..?
  15. What you think...swaped wheels, put the Black on the Gold 6.0SE and the Gun Metal grey on the Pearl White 6.0 Think it really brings ou the carbon fiber weave on the Baloon white car..?
  16. Ran snow tires on my SV all winter as well...drove great, approaching 8K miles on it now..and thats only 9 months of driving..
  17. No, that was a Blac one and it was not an America, it was a standard LM002
  18. Dont blame me..I DID not put that Badge on there...
  19. Yes, it was my car...the front bumper was replaced with OEM part and painted after a one car minor collission I had on players run with a rather large item in the roadway. I also had the rear area painted as well, due to road rash. It was a decent car when I sold it, orginal clutch Oh and the windshield was replaced as well.
  20. SO What do you guys think..? This low mile truck realy drives great.. 1) Paint it back to its Orginal Black? 2) Swap the all black interior from my current 91 LM002 A with this ones red interior.?
  21. No it is not...was painted in Dupont Camelia paint by Lassen, same guy that did the 1994SE Purple "Dolphin" car I had for a while.. Pics really dont show the depth of the tri flip-flop color...it truly is breath taking in Person and is obvious someone spent a LOT of money on the paint work..it is truly flawless..
  22. Just got this beauty in..ONLY 2708 ORGINAL miles and in P E R F E C T condition.. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  23. For the USA market.. ONLY standard seats, no race seats, no roll bar set up, no 4 point harness. You can choose between race set-up with lifting system (standard) or Standadrd set-up (suspension) with lifting system (option) ALL USA cars come standard with lifting system
