  1. THANKS A LOT!!!! Downloading now!!
  2. The Hennessey is 900k!!!!! I want someone to buy a Lotus, send it to UGR and have it beat the H-bomb with about 300k in it!
  3. A Porsche I actually like the looks of!!
  4. I was wondering about the Lamborghini Telemetry System. Why / What about it is garbage?
  5. UNREAL!!!! The badging is the icing on the cake. Absolutely amazing.
  6. Really? Did you specifically ask if Alcantera and Carbon Fiber interior options would be an available option at launch? "It will come soon, but not at launch."-SW
  7. I told my dealer I will order as soon as it is available. Unfortunately, SW told me no Alcantera or Carbon interior options at launch. So, I will have to wait. For that much coin, I want to get the exact look I want.
  8. Hey Everyone!! Based on reading this thread, the commercial, and other friends, I have just ordered a PS3, The Logitech G27 wheel, shifter, pedal set, and GT5. It looks like a lot of fun!! Should I get one of the 'playseats' that give you a place for everything and a racing seat? Some of them even have some kind of vibrating / shaking feature, does that really work? If so, any recommendations? Any other accessories that I should look in to? Thanks!!
  9. Nothing I have heard comes anywhere close to the F1 sound other than the Kreissieg. So, I got it, it was expensive, but even the Lambo dealership said it was much higher quality then all the others they have installed and the sound... my lord!! The dealership has installed many of the options, but I am sure not all of them. The Kreissieg is insanely perfect.
  10. I love the e-gear. I did not have the same light years experience with the 09. I agree the LP-560 shifts much quicker and smoother, but I found the the 06-08 cars have more kick, which give a more visceral experience. 90% of the time, I am not a race car driver, I am having fun on highways. I like the extra kick. Add a Kreissieg exhaust and that is what I liked!! The Kreissieg is very pricey and definitely worth it!!
  11. The back of the car has way more going on. It is unreal in person. There is a cut out in the bottom of the doors that is missing. The spy shots are close, add 10% cool on the side, %15 on the front and 400% in the rear. The front is kind of Sesto Elemento like, and the rear is Estoque like, but better.
  12. FROM NYC TODAY!!! Okay, so I got to see her in NYC today. First impression was not WOW! It was more like, hmmmm.... that is very striking! The presentation was very well done. Some bullet points... There are lines in this car that I do not think anyone could capture with photographs unless they are very skilled and take lots of pics!!! The Countach always looked to me like a spaceship as a kid, This looks like a UFO. Aliens could land in one of these!! It is definitely more curvy and refined than the Murcie or Diablo. The mirrors are very Gallardo-ish, and front headlights were the only thing that did not turn me on. They do not scream evil like the prior design, but it flows very well with the rest of the look of the front, so I will learn to love it. The back is amazing!!! That was a wow, and those huge side intakes are wicked!! The way the doors open are great. The center area with all the controls is very Porsche looking. The car was shown in white and I can only imagine what black or gray will look like. 3 new colors, an Orange, a Green and a Gray. None of which were on display. The car looks very futuristic compared to the Murice, but the Murcie still has it's charm. The Murcie is the last handmade / hand designed looking. This looks like it took a lot of time in the computer to get all those lines!! LOTS of lines. I had my checkbook and I was ready to order today. There is one big hold up for me. No alcantera or carbon interior option at launch. That will come "soon after" according to SW. I will order in black with alcantera and carbon everywhere. No doubt. This is a huge step up. More so in the engine, the gearbox, the downforce, etc. The looks are all Lambo. Oh, and the name is not Adventador or Jota. No one will know the real name till Match 3rd. I love it!! Unless they show it in the right color (white is not it), the looks may not be shockingly different enough for some. I am totally, 110% sold on it.
  13. The first time I saw a Gallardo there was a WOW factor. It still looks amazing to me. It is a timeless design. There are a few cars like that to me; McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, Countach, 911 (bulging eye era), Zonda, Muira. I got a WOW factor from the 458 when I first saw the pics, but it has worn off a bit. Actually, I like certain angles, I agree with the colors everyone else likes being better, it looks more fresh and newer than the G, but the G still looks like a legend. The Gallardo, IMHO, is a Concorde moment on the looks department of cars. It is just that beautiful. It is so amazing, it is hard to imagine how they can make a better looking replacement. It is almost like the car should go like a 911, with subtle changes and stay the same name. It is a modern timeless classic.
  14. My Cayenne Turbo S has those slick tires and is crap in the snow. Just don't mistake the turbo with the slicker tires as a winter ride anywhere that it snows. Unless, you buy an alternate set of rims and change the rubber.
  15. Terrible hosts, which unfortunately, is the most important element. Anytime I get to see professionally shot video of Lambo's, it is good, but the videographers are amateur compared to the UK squad. It seems like no one involved understands what makes the UK show special.
  16. Yes, I saw that too. Ferrari did supply Clarkson with (2) cars, a race track, a race car, shots of their F1 drivers, Enzo's home, and a full factory spot for his movie. Ferrari gets the biggest Thank You at the end because of those assets. I am sure the 458 is light years ahead in many ways of the old Gallardo design, but I wonder if the Ferrari fest that is 'the Italian job' influenced anything. Clarkson said something I found especially interesting... He thought maybe the 2008 SL was better or more of a 'race' feeling. I think another youtube review said that as well. I feel that way about 2007-2008 Gallardo's over the LP-560. I prefer the harder shifting of the earlier cars. I know the LP-560 is supposed to have great improvements in many ways, I just didn't enjoy it as much. But, I like to feel shifts. Especially with paddles.
  17. My Thoughts and Prayers to You and Yours.
  18. I added a JBL Clean Sweep, a nice amp, replaced the components to 200w Focals and have the ipod wired in to the Clean Sweep. Works great, stereo sounds much, much better, and only put one little hole for the clean sweep volume control and ipod selector.
  19. Congrats!! I am not saying I will definitely order it, but I am bringing my checkbook to the private showing in New York. ;-)
