  1. +1 for Silver, but I am pretty biased.
  2. Hey man.... HATE is a four letter word.... can't we all just get along?
  3. Full on Central PA Barney Fife... crew cut, mirrored Oakleys, lip full of chew, holdin his little stopwatch... not exactly one of Pennsylvania's finest.
  4. Looks like some shitty mid-80s sci-fi movie future-logo. Pass.
  5. My last run in. He 'ooh'ed and aah'ed' over the car then hit me with the full 62 in a 35. I was surprised at that, and he played it as if ''what else would I write it for?'' I said, 'hey we both know you can write it for whatever you want including a warning or a '5 over' sort of thing'... he literally said... 'well, if I did that I'd be lying'. Asshole. Never mentioned the GoPro.
  6. and me..... well, someone did say ''VagDoc''.....
  7. Congrats, what a stunning car. I get a bit of V12 fever too, but only haveing my Gallardo a year, I'm still in the newlywed phase.
  8. You all might have read this, but here it is again: Hype and Hypertrophy: How Lamborghini Lost Its Man Card. An interesting perspective. I disagree with more points than I agree with, and I certainly hope he is wrong about the Urus being a big-selling cornerstone of the marque.
  9. Isn't part of this scheme to sell more cars in up-and-coming financial powers like China, where tastes seem to run a bit differently than int he US and western Europe. It seems a huge number of supercars go there. Oh, and my Gallardo only has 16,500 miles.
  10. Congrats, it is an amazing car... quite the beast.
  11. Strictly personal opinion, but I think it takes a rare car to be able to pull off the 'tuxedo' look. On the Gallardo, I think the white'black of the SE looks better than the white/black of the bicolore.
  12. In the video it is a bicolore-type paint scheme. In the SE the posts aren't painted fore and aft, and the rear-most vertical part of the engine cover isn't painted. Also, the SE has black rear-views and rear-quarter vents (which the bicolore obviously doesn't have). Bicolore: SE: See avatar for my 'credentials'.
  13. The batteries might be dead in your sarcasm detector.
  14. I've only driven on the beach once at the Outer Banks, but I was told you have to let some air out of your tires.... looks like he forgot. Bummer.
  15. I guess I'll be #109. This is post #2 for me, so I'm a lurker/owner. I also see now that I need to edit my avatar... I'll get on that too. Short story is that I got (with the help of CatsExotics) a 2006 Gallardo SE about 2 months ago. It's Grigio Altair and has a Tubi-style exhaust and the Fabspeed carbon fiber air intake boxes and high performance hoses. It also has an LP560 front fascia, some interior CF, tail-lights and side-markers tinted, and a 3M clear bra. I've been driving it down to the Katie's C&C and doing some ''Sunday Drives'' with some of the NoVA/MD/DC crew. I'm at work, but I'll post a couple of pics. I actually need some help finding a part number for an front grille piece, so I'll post soon for some help with that.
  16. Hey all, Lurked for a bit, but now that my car is (almost) here, I wanted to jump in and say hi. Waiting, quite impatiently, for my first Lamborghini (first exotic), and so I'm getting some stuff lined up for it. I have a Valentine One on the way (planning on hardwiring it in via map light, or running under headliner to fuse box), but since I have no experience with the laser jamming equipment, I thought I would ask peoples' thoughts. I'm looking at the Blinder system, but understand the K40 has similar features. Anyone here using either of them, or had experience with those or other jammers in the past? Thanks a lot for the info and opinions, when my car arrives I'll spill more about it and some pics.
