All new cars are kinda sucky. I'm going backwards too for the last few years, hot rods, restomods and a murcie, versus new cars all the time. The future doesn't look to bright for cars with feelng, can't even get 6 speeds anymore really except from Porsche.

You might have a bad sense of smell

Any moisture that soaks thru and into the underpad is almost impossible to dry out. There is no airflow and it's covered up. My experience is making the car interior wet is a bad idea, it's mostly a sealed dark environment. Do not use any product that will soak or wet the carpets. Th car will stink forever after if it gets thru to the underpad. I had mold under a the carpet on aTruck years ago after a steam cleaning. Never again would I do it. Maximum I would do is scrub the carpet with a sponge with cleaner on it after useing a stiff brush then vacuum.

That's true. The new car styles are shit except for the R8, Fisker Karma and Maserati GT. the rest are booooooring or too computer designed to have any passion.
