The brand premium is a very large component in the Gallardo price, too large in my opinion, maybe like 50%... if Lambo give up half of that premium they will become competitive with the 997s and can start selling cars again... otherwise I will have to agree with Roy..

There is no way Lambo will die out... too much brand equity to go away however I do see them cutting back on R@D and possibly closing down many dealerships worldwide... I also anticipate to see the Lambo name on Audi engines and possibly other cars... The Lambos are not such a high techy cars that require that much R@D to begin with, they will stick to the current Gallardo technology for the next 10 years or so... I can see the new Murcie shift UPmarket with more limited production markets while the G will be offered for much more reasonable prices closer to the 997.

RENT and dont forget to rent some nice wheels too... you can also enhance your personal appearance by renting some fine jewlery to go along with your rented Gallardo..

Honestly, looks like it's more then I can chew and I don't know if my very small needs are worth the effort... I have both Ubuntu and XP partitioned on one hard drive and I realize that I have to go through those strings of commands to access the files... well, it's a bit much.. I'll play with it a little more but I don't see myself converting to Linux environment any time soon though...

So finally I decided to give Linux and it's operating system Ubuntu a shot, I downloaded the whole 700MB of it and now I have both Windows XP and Ubuntu. My question is, how do I access my old windows media files with Ubuntu? I'm sure it's easy but how? Lambo Power appears to have hard time on Ubuntu, it's not running smooth and requires additional plugins, why is that? I really don't know what the fcuk am doing on Linux but it's cool to explore I guess.. Everything else runs much faster then windows

The drifting race is fun to watch, "going balls to the wall" just got a new meaning for me after seeing those guys push so hard going sideways inches from the wall of the track.. Now I'm not known as the biggest aftermarket wheels fan out there but the wheels on Alex's LP are awesome... i fell in love with them when I first saw them some time ago.

Well I'm in the same boat with you, I had my car over 5 years since new, it's very clean and has 8k miles, it's not that I HAVE to sell it but after practically not driving it for couple of years and finally deciding to list it I found out that I'm dealing mostly with people who couldn't afford to dream of a Murcie before the recession, all of a sudden it's within their line of credit limits... They shop for a Murcie like they shopped for their Corvette/Mustang 3 years ago... by low balling the lowest priced cars on the market, nothing else matters to those guys..

Dude... this is the sale pitch you should be using... there's only one problem... it doesn't work.. People are not willing to pay a dime for extras, with a 03/04 used Murcie like ours you are threading into the players on a budget territory, those buyers will nickel and dime you for every rock chip let alone stuff that does not belong to the car originally... Those are not the same people who cut a $300k+ check for a brand new Lambo and who MIGHT appreciate good quality mods..

Well maybe the offer was 3 years ago or it was a trade in offer for a full stickerd brand new Pink LP-640 that it's order was canceled... All I can say is I WISH D. Wiggs would sell his car for that much but as a realistic Murcie owner who is in the market selling his car I know it would only happen if he sells the Murcie with $30k cash in the glove box..
