  1. Photos are beginning to thin out, so time to post some more.
  2. Unfortunately the CF briefcase had gone missing by the time I acquired the car.
  3. I've just worked out how to link to some that I couldn't link to before. Hope you like them.
  4. Here's one of me and mine, which I sold some time ago now. And a viewpoint that you don't get to see very often.
  5. Did you meet Jenny, the owner? She's a really nice girl.
  6. Steve you're the wrong gender to be the owner of that car.
  7. It's available as a wallpaper on my website. Just go to My Website and click the wallpapers link in the navigation bar.
  8. It was wonderful thanks Tommy. Some great roads, and it was the first time we didn't use the Mont Blanc tunnel. Have just found one picture that should have an acceptable URL to post here. Not the best of the bunch, but it does have two Diablos in it!
  9. I was going to post a few I took during our recent trip to Italy, but for some reason the forum doesn't like the URL path to my pictures and won't allow me to post them. If you don't mind viewing a few non Diablo pictures, a slideshow of the trip is available on my website. Euro trip slideshow The slideshow needs Javascript to be enabled to view.
  10. Any excuse to post some piccies of my baby. And with my good friend Suprawoman..
  11. Have you tried Parallel Designs in the UK? They make a kit car that is part GT lookalike and part SV lookalike. The engine cover is twin scoop a la SV, and can be seen here. http://www.paralleldesigns.co.uk/Bodyrear.jpg
  12. Everyone here has probably seen loads of photos of Countaches over the years, but hopefully this is a new take. Blame my OH. He's the one with the Photoshop skills.
  13. Bit late now, as you have finished already, but there are a few pictures of my GT here: http://www.88qv.com/25%20of%2080.htm Not many close ups of the bonnet, will have to see if I have any more that can be put on my website.
  14. No, just a GT. There is a thread on here somewhere with some pics of it, but just in case anyone missed it, here's a link to some photos on my website GT photos Hopefully as the year progresses and the weather gets better, there will be more photos as well as some text about what it is like to use the car. Already have plans for a trip to a motorshow in Scotland (about 400 miles from where I live) as well as another road trip back to the factory in Italy with a few friends in their Lambos. Should give you all something to look forward to.
  15. Not yet. I still have some paperwork to sort out to make it road legal here in the UK.
  16. Kind of expected really as I know that the GT can only be used Stateside under special circumstances, so is not exactly a common sight. Also people who see it in the flesh often think it's a kit car of some description, so to come to the same conclusion just on the evidence of a photograph is perhaps understandable. Just in case our friend is still not convinced it's not a kit car, here's a photo of the engine. p.s. No offence taken. LOL
  17. What's better than one black Diablo....................? One orange Diablo!!!!!!!
  18. There are an awful lot of photos, some of which have already been posted in another thread on here somewhere. Probably the best I can do is post a link to them. Trip to Italy and Factory Lamborghini Celebration in Brighton
  19. Well we've just had a very big meeting in Brighton a couple of weekends ago, but there wasn't much point in announcing it on here as most of the guys who post on here are on the other side of the pond. Whilst we had a large contingency of Lambos from Italy take part, and to a lesser extent from Germany, Switzerland, Holland and France there were no American cars, understandably. Likewise when anyone posts about things that are happening Stateside, there's not much I can add as I have never been to the States, and don't even know where a lot of the places are that people talk about. Finally, and it pains me to say it, but a little while back things on here seemed to be getting a little churlish, with derogatory remarks being made about Ferraris and a certain Ferrari forum It just reminded me of little kids bickering in the school playground, and wasn't something I wanted to be part of, so I stopped posting.
  20. I've just had another look at that as it was written a few years ago now. It actually sounds like I didn't have a lot of input into the purchase of the car, and that we only bought it because it was my husbands dream car from his youth. Whilst I'm not quite the petrolhead that he is, the Elise was definitely all mine, and there is no way we would have bought the CT if I hadn't wanted it too.
  21. I do drop by from time to time, but this is very much an 'American' site which I sometimes find makes it difficult to add anything constructive. Thanks for the nice comments on my site though.
  22. Thank you Dr. Doom. Everyone has to start somewhere, and surely the best thing to do if you're not sure is ask for advice from people who do - hence the post. (And actually, the ports are marked SUC and DIS)
  23. How do you tell which is which?
