  1. So right for the buck and the bang you can not go wrong with a FGT better than than the over priced SLR any day IMO
  2. Isnt cock bag Allans favorite comment....HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM like the song true colors?
  3. Also I have seen someone cut away the heat sheilds before.
  4. Maybe someone wrapped/bagged them to keep the engine compartment cooler. Cars run hot. And as for removing them it can be done without removing the engine. Like ab said u can remove the motor mount bolts lift tthe engine a little and they will come out.
  5. There is alot more than just pulling the manifold. The exhaust is in the way. From what I remember you must pull the starter out and work it towards the back. But first getting the bolts loose on the starter is a mission in itself. Not much room for movement even when u modify wrenches. I can tell you how I did it if u want to know or u get stuck in the process PM me. I have done it several times. But again its been 4 years.
  6. I am just curious why r u removing the crank pulley?
  7. I think it ladies night so she might not chime in.... But I did find a picture of her on Ferrari Chat with a friend!!
  8. The Part number is in the cross reference section of the Diablo Forum.. Bosch # 0 258 003 032 which also cross referenced to the number that ab has supplied Bosch # 0 258 003 957 Here is a cross refernece link.... http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/mcrossref.htm It does work in alot of other cars beside 95 Audi A6 Quattro. The Part number that Most auto parts stores use is Bosch #13396 I hope this helps..
  9. I am double checking My sources.. but I believe a 1995 audi A6 Quatro will work....
  10. I thought they were Bosch.. Forget I posted that..
  11. Any luck with the timing???
  12. That could be arranged. But the new owner probably wouldnt be too happy...
  13. I found a pair of rear clear lenses I had made to replace the amber rear ones. I just placed amber bulbs in them.. Up for grabs.. Cleaning out my garage!!!!!!!!!
  14. parts are gone.. I am glad I could help
  15. I have some parts laying around from my Diablo> Will give them away to a good home.. 1) clock 2) Coil(1) 3) Fuel Pressure Regulator (1) 4) Thermostat. Missing Seal 5) Throw out bearing 6) Aftermarket Rotor I might have other stuff also.. This stuff was working. It has just been sitting in garage for years..
  16. Like I said its been awhile. Thank god for u..lol
  17. i believe the 1-6 pickup is the top one so i was a little off. Did u plug in the pickups correctly or is ther any possible way u reversed them? I cant remember if thats possible, just guessing. I had the same problem once and some how my rotor was 180 degrees off. good luck
  18. I dont have any pics maybe ab will. this is what i would do. 1) Get underneath the car and look through the window and make sure the timing mark is lined up on the flyweel 2) then remove spark plug and make sure cylinder one is all the way up. (from what i remember it is On passenger side against firewall) 3) If thats ok then I would place spark plug back in and make sure rotor lines up with #1 on cap. 4) Then I would place the phase sensor just before top pick up. The phase sensor rotates so u can dial in it better. if that doesnt work try do a full revolution with the flywheel and start over.. Sorry its been ahwile.. Hope this helps
  19. From what i remember u have to line up the mark on the flywheel to TDC and then the rotor should be lined up to cylinder #1 and the phase sensor must be somewhere between the two picks or just coming out of the top pick up.. but i havent had a diablo or worked on one in years. And dont remember exactly..It should have exact positions for timing in the manual.
  20. My pinon gear snapped within the first two months of ownership.
  21. Excellent job!! I remember those days. Keep up the good work and good luck with it!
  22. does anyone have a rear grille they want to get sell or get rid of. dont need reverse lights or emblems.. thanks joey
  23. allan, the car ran strong.. never totaly finished it.. I was changing the whole interior to carbon and putting the svr front and sides like we talked.. But after being inside the newer car I want one.. so a think I will shoot up the murci with a wet shot.. we like the same things so you know it will never be stock :supz: already have my game plan.. just thinking if I am going to customize the motor or not..
  24. I am now looking to play with a murci... So we will see. joey
