no May dates available and sponsors and some/most racers don't want to race in 100 degree Texas heat (I'll race in any temp but others are sensitive to that stuff).

Jason Heffner is good people. He helped me out years ago at the Texas Mile. He stopped whatever he was doing and fixed something for me without hesitation. I tried to pay him, buy him lunch but he said no need. -

Had a great time since taking some time off from cars. Car ran great, KC and crew were there doing what they do. Was nice rolling off some high mph runs which happen get me to the finals and sure enough I flubbed the start but that's how it goes. I'll take a second any day. Congrats to the winner.

I won the last 6 speed event and they stopped having it. That makes me the Reigning 6 Speed Champ. maybe Kevin was slowing down and only going 213 while decelerating while Tony was at 210 and accelerating?

Sigh Looks like it. Numerous ouches in this post at both camps. Lol Let's not get ahead of ourselves. And a few 6 speed titles. More racers should be like Tony. Win with class lose with class.
