  1. The Pagani Huayra interior looks terrible (so does the exterior too, but that's another matter). Superficially guady, loud, everything that is totally opposite from what I look for in a car interior. Yes, the level of quality is extremely high, but design alone I wouldn't be able to stand it. The side mirrors are another thing that are just absolutely atrocious in my point of view. It seems styled simply for styling sake. Has no real effect on functionality. Give me a carbon bucket seat, a tachometer and speed readout, AC, and a radio. That's all I want Tell me this, what won't MSO do in terms of speccing a P1? As far as I know, the only things are making a RHD variant and giving it a manual transmission. Everything else you can spec. You could get a whole new body if you'd like. Totally different interior. Pretty much anything. As far as the statement goes for the hybrids running out of battery after 1 lap, simply not true, these cars are regen'ing more than they are outputting. They never are out of battery power in a full lap of the Ring There are plenty of reasons to go towards the P1 aside from the McLaren F1 connection. Some may want a little more flashiness, but that's not what I'm looking for. In terms of suspension technology, aerodynamics, and electronics calibration, there isn't anything close right now on the market
  2. Wut? What is that supposed to mean? It's pretty clear it doesn't perform "just like the MP4-12C." The P1 is a heck of a car, no matter if you like the way it looks or not, no matter how much it costs, or how many are made. By merit alone, it's right up there with any other car

  8. Simply because the shops over there have no idea what they are doing... If you want Stage 3R level of performance, just ask UGR for Stage 3R power 2000 whp.

  10. Tires are everything and in general, Michelins and Dunlops (and a new upcoming tire from another manufacturer) are all stickier rubber than anything that Pirelli makes for road cars. Even Trofeo R's don't really get to Sport Cup 2 level. That said, the P1's tires are custom specced for them. If anything, the reason for the P1 not beating the 918 would be down to lack of development time at the Ring and driver (look at Marc Lieb's palmares, it includes multiple wins at the Nurburgring, compared to say Chris Goodwin) or possibly the suspension being too stiff. We still haven't seen any run in the P1 without a passenger or with DRS being used. Congrats to Porsche. That's a stonkin time, but not unexpected. As I have said before, behind the P1, the 918 is my favorite of the hypercars. I knew it would surprise. And once again, it will demolish a Huayra PS: I finally drove another car that can do 0-60 mph in 3 seconds and corner better than she goes in a straight line. Hint, its motor is hugely restricted but without exhaust, is around 125 dB. Yay for driving experience!

  14. That's not what he said. Wiggs said a year ago, that it would essentially be the best in every metric. Not just for the Murci.
  15. I love the 918, Jay also drove the P1 recently and in his words, it feels like it's 3 times faster than the MP4-12C. All these hypercars are beasts

  17. You will probably get walked, but I'm guessing you would be able to take on pretty much everyone else other than the high power GTR's.
