  1. Adriani, I know you are going for a Countach concept, which can see. But I also see lines from the Diablo, Gallardo and Murci as well. You have tremendous talent. To pull off what you did and make it look exciting, fresh, and not cartoony is incredible. I hope the guys at Lamborghini are paying attention. Great work!! Regards, Phil
  2. The car looks very nice. Yellow is one of my favorites! Congrats and enjoy!
  3. That sucks! Looks like a total loss.
  4. Yes, I will try to take more hi rez pics, including the interior when I get the car out next time. I think you are right about the previous owner. Cheers
  5. I have the OEM Diablo GT carbon seats. The car did not look right with standard 6.0 seats. Yeah, the wing Alex originally put on was swapped for a factory GT wing. This is my 3rd 6.0 and it is really a beast. Easily the strongest of the 3. Perhaps the exhaust has something to do with it.
  6. I just bought the car several weeks ago. Will get you some pics as soon as I can. Regards, Phil FYI, I am not an Fchat member.
  7. RIP, my saddest condolences. Very sad news.

    Dear Al Gore

First off, CO2 is not a pollutant. It is a greenhouse gas, which without, life would cease on earth. It represents about 0.04% of the atmosphere gases. The earth's ecosystem is self regulating in many respects but clearly heavily influenced by solar activity. Most of the atmospheric CO2 is from ocean evaporation. There is substantial evidence that CO2 emitted from man made sources is recycled back into the earth. Recent research suggest that atmospheric CO2 levels may be a corrective feedback loop which may take around 600 years. Also, any attempts to claim what levels of CO2 existed millions or even several hundred years ago are bs and clearly the recent AGW news shows have been "manipulated" at best. Now I am all for a cleaner environment and less pollution. For my part, I am using 100 octane gas in my 6.0. It burns cleaner. As for Gore, that piece of shit should be in an orange jumpsuit.
  9. Yes, you are right about the front size. Brain fart on my part. The fronts are 235/35/ZR18
  10. I just bought the Alex's 6.0 GT clone and it is an amazing car. Definitely the strongest 6.0 I have ever driven. The tires have plenty of tread life but they are looking pretty dried out. So I thought, no big deal, I'll just logon to TireRack and order me some new ones right? WRONG! Turns out, Pirelli no longer makes the size of the rears and none of their other sizes match the front's outer diameter. Since the car has VT, the front and rear need to be a very close match and I cannot find anything that works. The car has custom wheels to account for the wider track of the GT version and I really do not want to change them out. The sizes are : 335/25ZR19 235/35ZR18 I would appreciate any suggestions.
  11. I have always used Swepco. Shifts perfect, hot or cold. I use the motor oil as well.
  12. Check out the short clips from the title page. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=16349
  13. I agree. The problem is that many places, even reportedly reputable ones, don't know what they are doing or don't give a shit.
  14. My seats have the #'s as well. I noticed that a long time ago. At first it seemed strange, but now I don't even think about it.
  15. That seems hotter than normal. Even in over 100 degree heat, my 6.0 water temp does not go much over 95C. The warmest I saw my oil temp get is about 110C. Sounds like they may not have bled ther air out of the system. You probably have some air bubbles.
  16. Neither. I use dino oil (Swepco 14W40). Expensive... but WORTH IT!
  17. You are right Mick, that is Paul's roadster. Nice car! He lives about 6 miles from me and he is in the plumbing business.
  18. I have seen this car. It is in great shape and has no issues I am aware of. Someone will get a great deal it looks like. The color is more purpleish. The photo cannot accurately show it.

  20. FWIW, it would be exceedingly rare to have a fuel pump go bad. It will be an electrical issue. Do not forget to check the coils.
  21. I have to say SE30 and the 6.0 a very close second.
