  1. I'm sure there's a lot more to the story, but do get the DVD. The way they did it was brilliant, and all so simple back in those days... http://www.amazon.com/Cocaine-Cowboys-Kell...s/dp/B000KLQUUS
  2. It's a great documentary, well worth picking up! I lived through all that down here, but I was just a kid during that time.
  3. Repost... http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19927
  4. The red is a rear fog light... It's not a US car. There's a thread on L-chat about it. It was sold by Steve Maman, went from Dubai through him to someone in the Philippines.
  5. OOOOH CONGRATULATIONS! I LOVE THOSE!!! I want one for a daily driver so bad!
  6. There is no difference... And speaking of Lambo kit cars, I don't understand why Lamborghini doesn't go after them agressively like Ferrari does and put them out of business.
  7. 100 of the hardtops in 2004 and 100 of the convertibles in 2006, all sold out immediately. There are 2 of the hardtops in SoCal, they show up frequently at Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills. AMAZING cars, MUCH more than a tarted up CLK, they're very impressive full on race cars for the street. The one on the Scottsdale Lotus website is actually one of the ones in SoCal, it's for sale if someone wants to pay his price (can't remember what that is anymore), but I get the impression he doesn't care if he sells it or not. The owner is a frequent poster on f-chat.
  8. I'll never understand "replicas"
  9. The gold isn't doing it for me, IMO it looked much better with silver wheels and side pods.
  10. Well that was 10 years ago! LOL, that's old... Actually I know someone who ordered a new 997 Turbo in that color. It's still available "paint to sample", but it's been a while since I remember it being a standard color.
  11. No, the 40th Murcie color is unusual but not THAT bad! That looks more like an old Porsche color called Mexico Blue. But at least Porsche never put it INSIDE (at least not that I remember)
