  1. You mean the extra 50hp that all Argento S2 Countachs received? Brian
  2. I have a set of these 29/61-15 Michelin TB15's coming in soon for my Porsche RSR. Many in the UK run these tires. I have a picture of a Countach with them the rear as well. http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/search?sea...p;x=30&y=12 Brian
  3. A wing-less S3 is going to be one cool ride Congrats on the purchase...keep us all posted on the progress. Brian
  4. Alberto, Looks great...very nice job. I can assure you whatever wiring is there (Sat nav) was not done by me...must have been done by the previous owner which we now know the kind of work he did. The red knob was comfortable but OEM looks much better Keep the pictures coming. Brian
  5. Not to nitpick but since the seller makes the claim that it is the best you can buy....look very close at the pictures and you can see lots of "little" things. Has the front bumper been replaced? Does not fit like an original....has a bend to it and you can see overpray under the front bonnet near the bumper. Not to mention the interior needs some work (dash) and cleaning. Also, the tail edges of the engine cover are bent up. I would say it is in very nice shape but certainly not the "nicest example you will ever see on market again" Brian
  6. Alberto, I am not exactly sure who the first owner was but was told it was a woman by the gentleman I purchased it from whose name is Ed Godbout from Fort Lauderdale FL. I will try to find his phone number/email...he will know the first owner. I have Eds mailing address from the old title. It would be very interesting to talk with Ed about the "issues" you found in the engine as he did all the work himself. I will send you an email later this week with his contact info. Not selling the copper car I regret selling you the 5000S...I miss it. Please post more pics! Brian
  7. Albert, The car looks fantastic...you did a great job. I too like it best without the wing. You need to take a video of it in action and post. Brian
  8. What is his address? Phone number? Thanks Brian
  9. Actually, it would still be a very rigid given the amount and height separation of structural tubing in the side-sills. Brian
  10. Tony is doing the black car (LP400S S2) I purchased in Seattle aka Pawnshop car Being restored back to original silver (Argento) over black. So far it is turning out great...car should be in paint next week. It is a complete restoration and rebuild...even the gearbox. Tony has been great and his work fantastic. I cannot wait to see the car finished. Brian
  11. Peter.... Absolutely stunning! I am so happy you got her back together....enjoy and drive it often. Brian
  12. Alberto, I sent Roy a ton of pictures which he then sent to you and clearly explained that it needed work...this is the absolute truth. I can send anyone on this board emails between all of us that clearly show this as well as when I posted if for sale on Fchat explaining that it had cosmetic issues. Also, several on this board actually rode and even drove this car. It always ran perfectly. A matter of fact...I drove it 170+ miles to pick up Tim Kesulek (Countach expert) at the airport before you purchased it. When it arrived to you..you stated it did not run well and could hardly idle. It took nearly 3 months to reach you....something must have happened in between. As for the engine issues...I had none. The car was even at George Evans for work and he said it ran very well....full compression check was very good....you should have a copy of it. How would I have known that it did not have OEM bearings of other issues if the car ran always ran great for me. I would have immediately done an engine rebuild if I noticed anything wrong. Also, I have been on this board as well as Fchat for many years....I would never mislead anyone on these forums. I totally respect Emilio and knew you were both good friends. Had I known the engine needed work do you really think I would lie to you or Emilio.....NO. I would NEVER lie to anyone about a car...that is a fact. If I remember correctly...I even suggested that you spend the money and come over and see the car in person. I too have purchased cars that I have not seen in person and expect that person to be honest...just as I am. We discussed the body issues. You even told me that the issues were fine since you would be doing a complete restoration anyway and were not looking for a perfect car. This really ticks me off Alberto. I even gave you the name Ed Godbout....who owned the car before me so you could discuss with him the engine issues you found....he did the work. The ONLY reason I sold that car was because I did not like black over red but purchased the car because it was a good deal @$75K....plus an additional $20K spent at Evans months later. Once again...if George noticed ANYTHING not running correctly and called me to say that we needed to pull the engine for a rebuild it would have been done. I would suggest you hire an attorney if you would like...I am certiainly ready. As for the other car I purchased a year later....I paid $80K and it was red....a car I have been looking for a longtime. If you do not believe this ask Joe S., Tony I. or anyone else I have talked to about finding a red Countach. ALSO...when you first told me about the engine issues...I told you I would gladly purchase the car back.... Alberto...if you want to take this further I am ready. Also, Roy sent a full PPI that another possible buyer had done on the car and you were fine with it. It also had the cosmetic issues listed and if I remember correctly stated that the car ran very well....just as it always had for me. Brian
  13. Good idea. I have already spoken to my company attorney....it should not be too expensive. I REALLY hope Kurt makes this easy for us and especially him very soon. We need to hear from you Kurt.....! Brian
  14. Dennis, I also hope that Kurt steps up and does the right thing and offers refunds before it has to go to the next level which I am certainly prepared to do. Brian
  15. I have two complete sets that I need to send back for a refund. Kurt? Brian
  16. 1995 and 1996. Fun to look back...yet a little depressing as well. Hard to find DD Countachs now yet back then several where on the market... Brian
  17. A few Dupont Registry Ads from back in the day. I know where the '81 car is but where are the others now? Those prices sure do not look bad now Brian
  18. About 3 too many....up to 4 now. Brian
  19. Wing will stay for a bit.....but it will eventually come off Brian
  20. Thanks.... The car is getting the Euro rear, all fluids changed and a few other things.....will post pics when complete. Good idea on weights....I have a good friend with a full set of scales and will certainly weigh them all for comparison... Brian
  21. Thanks...I am REALLY looking forward to getting it. Will post a few pics once it arrives. Thanks to Mang for the headsup Brian
  22. Alberto, Your Countach looks fantastic. I especially like the pic with it coming up the hill....awesome. Brian
