  2. It will happen one day... mark my words.
  3. Credit to him for not mentioning it and instead entertaining us with his posting style. RIP. Any chance of a slightly different thread title now?
  4. Ol Billie is a good girl, right laugh, her ex husband is Chris Evans do a quick google on him. I once bumped into them them in a pub in London and they were a great laugh. She is a real nice down to earth girl and is not too offensive on the eye in the flesh. And likes a drink. Anyway not a "dam" but a "pretty cool" ad being played on UK tv http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ3d3KigPQM
  5. Big ol' Surrey pad Mr Trax, can people actually go out on the "ramparts" at the front?
  6. My mum thought it was way too commercial but felt that was not a fair indication on the guy that mixed. I am 100% certain he could do better and I know he will post the results on here Meanwhile the original of this track I loved but this remix makes me a touch moist. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0KqiU7EPXEo&...re=channel_page Anyone got a download link?
  7. I like it when aspects that manufacturers view as mandatory like boot buttons and logos are used to create a functional effect an example being Renault use the Renault logo on the boot/trunk but the centre of it pushes to open the boot. Simple yet clever little design touch which enhance the ergonomic feel of the car. The hypercars you mentioned like the McLaren F1 and Bugatti were design around necessaries. The McLaren was never an exercise in car aesthetics but a journey in pure no-compromise performance driving experience, it should be appreciated for the way it tugs and scoffs at problems that a car like that encounters for example Gold in the engine bay because of the heat, a ultra light radio headunit and amazingly thin headrests. A few years back I saw these two parked up and it drove home the tiny detail. No flouncy fat just engineering muscle. I love reading about the technological engineering solutions that designers are faced with, for example how BMW were asked to create an engine of x weight to produce x bhp which was greater than most engines in production and they bettered the quote given to them. The Veyron was struggling with reaching the benchmarked top speed and they tried the car without its side mirrors and found after 200mph+ they were providing the car with downforce and stability so they restyled them, those little stories bring together elements of detail that (without sound pretentiously stupid here) improve mankind - it encourages and pushes us to beat the challenges life throws at us. I like that about the LP640, it encourages people to walk around it, to admire it more and take in those details. If a design makes the audience interact with it then it is good because it is working, it is getting the audiences attention imo.
  8. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/celeb...television.html My sense of humour is getting darker and darker!
  9. See as a purity of design the "standard" DB9 is one of the pinnacles of sleek simplestic design whereas even though I like the DBS I just think the bodykit is clumsy and bulky next to a standard DB9. Minus the two baby rear seats. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3027/290744...fee4095.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3140/290744...0a2a129.jpg?v=0 The bulky yet sculpted sides are growing on me, not like a fungus I might add, but the way in which Lambo have not tried to go out of their way to bolt an overly corporate face to the front should give them a a huge chunk of credit.
  10. Freemasons. Do any of the US guys rate their stuff? Real catchy remixes, oh and I drink in the pub that inspired their name and where they hang out!
  11. Now of all the discussions that we can host on a Lamborghini forum the actual aesthetics and car design is something us Lambo enthusiasts can actually talk about. Ferrari forums boast (pointlessly) about race heritage on its road cars but when it comes down to it, lets face it a lot of people buy a car about looks and therefore the feeling it gives them. Now this has been brought on by catching a re-run of top gear on BBC3 and they showed the Lamborghini Estoque. And I like it now. But when it first came out I did question what direction Lambo wanted to go in but seeing the car in a different light after a period of time and the steering wheel and dash looks dated all ready but the seat and general cabin layout looks well detailed along with the bold sculpted "fitted" exterior. When the Revention came out I was not its biggest fan but I liked the bold approach, now I really like it. I like the bold styling with that extra layer of interesting colour. So how does car design work for you? Do you after a period of time become familiar with the aesthetics of a car and then it gets under your skin, once the shock of the new subsides do you take in the design details? Or once you see a car do you instantly like it / dislike it?
  12. That website is just amazing http://www.trendir.com/house-design/
