Should have gone bracket racing.

Heffner ran 3 passes at 10.8x@129 in a stock Huracan tonight at the strip. Not bad.
-
Congratulations! Can't wait to see it in the finished house!

Yes. I think it's listed at $42k below but I'm quite sure $50k under would take it.
-
That is the truth. I don't care how much money you have, nobody likes taking such huge beatings for driving out of the showroom. A buddy of mine has a 650S spider listed ~$50k below MSRP with 589 miles. The guy that bought my MP4 traded it on a 650S, and when he sold it he ate $55k for 600 miles. It's just insane. It's an absolutely awesome car at used prices. At new, you really have to have a commitment to burning cash.

Agree will all of this except 5. They are pretty similar in terms of how planted they feel, in my opinion.

Yesterday I got a call from a tailor telling me Lamborghini Troy gifted me a credit to get a suit with them for buying the H. I can't tell if that's a subtle message about my usual attire. "Stop showing up here looking like a bum!" Lambo North America also called yesterday to discuss my impressions of the car and interaction with the dealership. I told them I was very pleased and appreciative of the way the dealership conduct themselves. Very nice.

Looks awesome in that color.

First time I laid into it in the Huracan it was obvious C&D was full of it with the 10.5@135. The car is pretty fast, but nowhere near that fast. I had a 616 hp MP4 for a little over a year and the MP4 is clearly faster. I think the Huracan will probably run a 10 but definitely nowhere near 135. I put it in between a 458 and an MP4. Huracan is a better car though, in my opinion. I like the McLaren but the Huracan is an excellent street car.

VBUGKING's 50th Anniversary Aventador Roadster

Really stunning. -
Too late. Already traded Huracan + cash on a C7.

Thanks everyone! Only got to drive it about 15 miles, so I'll try and make up for it tomorrow. First impressions are very positive as a street car. I was worried about the dynamic steering, but that was because I drove the demo after getting out of a car with ultra direct non-power steering. Felt fine on the way home. Love the sound, love the interior, really digging the new LCD setup. Lamborghini will sell a ton of these. Just the white one! 27,000 miles since new in 06. www.fordgtforum.com is my website so we store a number of GTs year round and then fill the wall for the winter.

Here you go. Love Rosso Mars. Waffling on blacking out the wheels.

Wow! Legit photos shortly. This car is just awesome. Justin @ Lamborghini Troy hooked me up big time to get it and I luckily walked into a car just the way I would have ordered it. Luckily it's rush hour so I've got an hour to blow taking some pics.
-
They have to finish prepping it but I'll have it tomorrow.
-
I was hoping I'd have mine yesterday but they tell me Wednesday now. Pumped.
-
Hate it painted. Adding a bunch of visual weight to a car that's already chunky looking. The problem is not the diffuser it's the material. Same piece in CF would be fine.
-
Sorry Webster, I don't have a date for you. I asked this morning and the only answer they could come up with was that it was built ~60 cars after their demo, which was built in July. As Fortis mentioned, I just sort of luckily walked into an ordered car that ended up available for sale pretty much identical to how I'd order it, so I took it. Supposed to be in port Wednesday.
-
Now they tell me car will be at port on Sept 17th, so sometime the next week. They are hoping that it may be a little sooner as their demo was.
-
Finally drove the car this week and did the same thing the one time I ran it out. Very annoying. Anecdotally, it definitely didn't feel as fast as a McLaren, but I think the car looks and sounds awesome.
-
That's what I was told at the dealer. I was there when the demo showed up mid-week and it looked great in white.
-
I think that's really the key point. I didn't expect a big improvement over the STS, but if your STS did 7.69 in optimal conditions and 8.4 in similar conditions to what you tested the Huracan in yesterday, I think it's reasonable to expect a customer Huracan that did 8.2 to do 7.3-7.4 in good conditions.
-
I was gonna guess 7.30s. Not expecting a massive difference over the STS.

I am told mine will be here September 19th. Dealer received their static display this morning.
