  1. Some pics of my Monterey Edition SV: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...Pictures001.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...oSVdecal003.jpg http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/1...tionDiablo5.jpg
  2. Well I sure hope so, coming from a fellow Monterey Edition owner
  3. But wouldn't this sale set the bar for an equally well maintained and well conditioned SV?
  4. HEY this is all great new for us SV owners!!!!!
  5. If anyone does buy it, I have the Silver SV deals available. Cheers
  6. I own the Russo Vik Monterey Edition #5 and the SV decal is a must. PM me your needs
  7. Mine as well is tucked away just put new rubber and brake pads.
  8. Well at least the number of decent or mint Monterey Editions is sure becoming slim. Makes Allan's and mine that much more desirable. I wonder how many of the 20 have been totaled or resurrected in this fashion. I remember this car at one point was being sold at the same dealership that had Mike Tyson's yellow "Super Diablo" another Frankenstein, I think it had a twin turbo and was yellow. Another permanent roadster.
  9. I see the seller removed it from Ebay: This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.

  11. What a DAMN Shame it sure was a good looking example in those archive photos.
  12. Just looking at the interior what were they thinking? The way it came from the factory is just plan gorgeous but why would someone change it so drastically and make it look like that.
  13. I noticed that Monterey Edition #8 is on Ebay item # 321348970622 . What happened to the interior plus there is no airbag compartment on the passenger side. Anyone know the story on this Diablo?
  14. Nope, the SV was converted to have the fixed headlights when the kit was installed. It is an 98 SV "Fact".
  15. In the original post the yellow "last photo" Diablo is not a GT, even thought it has the emblem on the rear mesh. It is a 98 SV with a GT kit installed. Very nice cosmetically hooked up SV by the way.
  16. I see it sold. Did any one catch what the hammer price was? Looks like Richard Berry was unloading his entire collection.
  17. Sorry, I do not know. I do know he can make it if your are serious.
  18. Very good point, I draw a blank! I can think of the Murci SV for an addition, but not a replacement.
  19. I'm with you Allan 100%, these SV's are so unique in terms of appearance and limited to just 20. I wonder how many are still on the road. I hope in a few more years the values of the remaining few will climb further. The below Youtube video is really cool it shows all 20 at the 35 Anniversary of Lamborghini and the drive of running of the Bulls. Allan you can see yours and mine as clear as day in a few of the shots. There is narration which goes into the reasoning of the creation of the Monterey Editions. I burned a DVD so I could add to my vehicle history. Lamborghini running of the bulls 1998: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJACgQfP3a8
  20. The SV that Mario drove was a completely different color. It had a more pinkish hue plus if I recall correctly each of the 20 was painted uniquely none were alike. It was on ebay a few months back with about 35K miles.
  21. I noticed that for the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee Florida on January 26th a 98 Monterey Edition Diablo SV will be up for auction. They do not mention the # as there were only 20 made. Based on the pics and description it has 790 HP generated by this by twin Eaton superchargers. It has 10K miles. As the owner of #5 it will be interesting to see what this one goes for. It doesn't have the SV strip or the distinctive black accents on the front nose, but it does have the SV wheels in chrome. No sure if the color is named correct though Rosa Vic. What are your thoughts, will the addition of the twin Eaton superchargers hurt or add value? They estimate it should go for between: $115,000 - $135,000. Maybe I'm biased but I thought it would be a bit more that 135K. I know I wouldn't sell mine for anything less than 140K with 12k miles.
