TRANSAMERA Report post Posted April 9, 2008 Looks good, what size wheel in the rear 11 or 12 inches wide? I'm guessing with that width they have to be at least 12" wide, maybe even 12,5" or 13", the 345 tires sits very flush with the rim. JK79 Report post Posted April 10, 2008 Great choice, those wheels look great. Did you lower your SLR a bit? You and Allan have proven that black is THE color for SLRs.
OC Report post Posted April 11, 2008 Great choice, those wheels look great. Did you lower your SLR a bit? You and Allan have proven that black is THE color for SLRs. Did you ever have a doubt!? Silver has never been THE color for any car IMO. It just looks bland, on any car. Easy to clean, good resale value, wont offend anyone (except me, it seems), but that's it. Anthracite and the darker silvers like the 722s are MUCH better than the silver one the regular SLR. I'll concur with a couple of members here, that SLR is just about perfect in terms of look. It looks GOOD!!!!

Yes, I spoke to Vince at Iforged and my wheels are 12's in the back also, so I can fit the 345's too.
